Just thought I'd share this :)

To quote my description... "I used a very specific rotation to be able to take the hit. Along with Blood Presence to absorb it, I used... Horn of Winter, Bone Shield, Death and Decay, Outbreak, Empowered Rune Weapon, Fire of the Deep, Death Strike, Dancing Rune Weapon, Icebound Fortitude, and Army of the Dead. In that specific order. First reason--- for the order-- is timing-- I needed all up at appropriate times. HoW, Bone Shield, DnD, and DS were all for Runic Power (well, DS for a small bit of healing too)-- so that I could use DRW in time. FotD and DRW boosted my dodge and parry-- so that when using Army of the Dead, while casting, I had the maximum damage reduction possible. IBF before that was necessary so that I could live-- barely.
750,000 damage was incoming.... I took 90,000 in the end. Add in his melee attacks... It was close, rough, but... Doable. Soloable."
So um... DKs are overpowered just a tad?

Overpowered? Hardly.
I'm fairly confident I could pop all my cooldowns and survive the first stomp, a few melees, and a second stomp.

Third: Divine Guardian (I think the proc should let me survive)
I think you mean Ardent Defender =)

Getting all of them lined up is a pain. I made it-- barely. I think as a Protadin, I could have a decent chance at surviving 3.
First: Divine Shield
Second: Guardian (50% DR), Divine Protection (20%), so I'd take 40% Well, 750K - 50% from armor, -50% Guardian, -20% Divine Protection = about 140K
(Just have to have heals ready to follow this up, Forbearance should be gone, so Lay on Hands)
Oh and tack on:
Indomitable Pride
for a hella shield, to protect you while healing.
Third: Divine Guardian (I think the proc should let me survive)
Fourth: I'm out of CDs. >.>
I don't count Divine Shield, simply because it's ignoring damage, not absorbing it.
The second I'm curious about as to if that would work properly-- I can see it, but theorycrafting and actually working can sometimes prove to be different. This has piqued my interest though.
And for Ardent Defender... Yeah, I guess a Fire Mage can too... Kinda cheap, but that works lol (Edit: Assuming they could take the melee blows leading up to it. Which would probably just be kiting a bit.)

So um... DKs are overpowered just a tad?
You blew all of your cooldowns and survived a mechanic that comes once every what, thirty seconds, with no hope of surviving the rest of the encounter? Not really what's making DK's OP this tier.
Also your UI is absolutely hideous.

1. I was just proving something.... And yes, I know, DK's are OP due to other reasons... I was kinda being a smartass on that point.
2. On first inspection. Minus the abilities I lined up for this... Look at everything else. Ordered by Rune usage (Unholy, Blood, Frost), Runic Power usage, utility, and miscellaneous. I never have to look at how many runes I have, save for Blood for Heart Strike control when trying to boost out my maximum Blood DPS possible.
