I lead weekly raids through
Trial of the Crusader, alternating between regular and heroic as well as 10- and 25-player. For the past two weeks, the group has done (heroic) Trial of the Grand Crusader 25 and experienced the same glitch.
The raid progresses normally until the Lich King comes and splits the arena floor, sending us into the waters below. At that point, we make our way to land as normal, but neither
Anub'arak (the final boss) nor any of his trash is visible.
This issue has not happened with either difficulty (regular or heroic) of 10-man, nor in 25-man regular.
Over the course of the two weeks, we've tried:
- Dropping & reforming group for a "soft" reset.
- Waiting 30 minutes for a "soft" reset.
- Switching the difficulty to Regular mode and back again.
Neither of the first two options lead to any change, and the third option causes the trash to spawn. We also see
Anub'arak appear after a difficulty switch before immediately submerging underground, and he is un-targetable. This is the only kill that's stopping several players from finishing their
Call of the Grand Crusade (25-player), and it's frustrating to see the same issue arise.
I've submitted tickets after both errors. The first time, the GM told me that the glitch had never been seen before and they were unable to recreate it, so the chances of us seeing it again were slim - hence the second week's attempt. But then it happened again, prompting a second ticket. That time, the GM said she'd forward the information to the dev team and get them working on it. But with MoP as the focus for most people, and ToGC as older content anyway, I'm dubious about it being too far up on their priority list.
My question is, has anyone else had this happen to them? And if so, did you find a way around it?
