Halo's storyline is better than any book or movie I've ever read/seen... and the same can be said for Starcraft and many others.Really? Halo has a large number of the standard Sci-fi story lines running through it; nothing super special...of course, I've always found it really boring but that's me; not a fan of FPS's and other then sticky grenades, didn't find much fun in it.

Really? Because the Halo games are some of the greatest storylines I have seen, and make the books MUCH better than any non-video game based books I can think of.
And I can say the same for any other games or movies based off games, they're usually just BETTER than any other books or movies in terms of story. (With the notable exception of the simply terrible Resident Evil films...)

Um...Tomb Raider, House of the Dead, second Mortal Kombat movie, Street Fighter, Alone in the Dark...most video game movies are crap.
And I've seen Halo's story in dozen of other books; not that original(come on, Cyborg vs Aliens with zombies thrown in?). I read the Halo books; not something I want to read again, but that's me.

And yet, they are still considerably better than other movies not based on video games in terms of storyline.

But halo does it noticably better. The characters are conveyed far better due to the interactions with them in the game.
Hell, minor characters such as 'Refumee (Heretic Leader from H2) was FAR more memorable than most main characters in many books or movies. Meanwhile, major characters like MC, Cortana, Thel, and Johnson are millions of times more memorable, better written, and more likable than even that.
The same can be said for Warcraft.
Illidan is relatable, believable, and understandable. He makes an excellent villain who the players can actually understand and feel for quite easily, as well as being much more memorable than any non-video game villain.

Compared to what? There are some awesome movies in terms of action, like Fast and the Furious and such. But in terms of story? They all suck.... hard....

uh... they're not...
Go read First Strike, Fall of Reach, Ghosts of Onyx... Spartans die by the hundreds against the covenant.
It's one of Halo's major selling points for me. There are no BS "one man armies."
Halo is not about some single prick, it is about an ARMY. And the story is simply amazing because of it.
And I found Illidan to be a selfish, pathetic, little Emo of a character.
Which makes him relatable, believable, and realalistic.
Which is more than KJ, Sargeras, Deathwing, or many others can claim.

Halo is not about some single prick, it is about an ARMY. And the story is simply amazing because of it.I read those, and while the Spartans die by the hundreds....they take out thousands of Covenant forces. Also....Master Chief kinda of says otherwise; unstoppable and won't die cause he's the flagship *yawn*
Which makes him relatable, believable, and realalistic.
Which is more than KJ, Sargeras, Deathwing, or many others can claim.Lol right.

You see: big-name villains like the old gods? They're not realalistic villains.
IRL? I'm not a villain because I want to destroy the universe, plunge the universe into chaos, or any sort of lame #$%^.
No, I'm a villain because I am a selfish total @#$%^& who hates people and won't hesitate to stab my friends in the back to get ahead.
Illidan is a realalistic, and thus BETTER villain...

Kael was always the better villain; at least he had a real plan and wasn't just a puppet/scared $%^&less and hiding from KJ. Illidan was just a little boy stuck in a man's body who couldn't figure out how to be a person.
And you are right; The Old Gods are forces of Nature....you fear them, cause you know they could step on you at any point and not even notice you are dead.

Except Kael was't as relatable.
Real villains don't pull of crap like he did. Real villains are Illidan. Real villains are backstabers, theifs, rogues, reactionist, rather than proactive planners.
And no, I don't fear the Old Gods. Because they can't exist, they are unable to make any sort of believable transition into the world we live in.
Meanwhile, I know people like Illidan, I am a person like Illidan, and I could very easily fear a person like Illidan.
I would never fear someone like KJ, Sarg, Deathwing, or the Old Gods...

Meh whatever. Also, Kael's purpose, even when he joined up with the Legion, was all about his people; he wanted to give them a new source of magic to keep them as his. He was the better character, and Illidan was always just a simple sad little man who hadn't gotten over the fact Tyrande picked Malfurion, not because of power, but because his brother actually had a personality.

Honestly, despite the fact that she is technically alive, I would like to bring Sylvanas back to life.
I say she is technically alive and dead at the same time, due to the fact that she was killed by Arthas when Silvermoon fell, so that he could revive Kel'Thuzad. However, he didn't quite kill her, he made her a banshee, so technically she was very much dead, a ghost cannot be alive can it?
After that, she retook her body, but she is still technically dead, since she is a forsaken. Which she also says herself if you talk to her in the UC Throne room.
OnT: I want her to regain her mortal self. To become an elf again. What will she do then? She might choose to go back to the Night Elves, but since she considered herself as letting down her people, I don't think she would take it very good. But, a living Night Elf that looks like a High Elf ruling the forsaken? Will they also turn on her, in spite that she became alive and they are still dead?
Yeah, a lot of interesting things could happen if Sylvanas was brought back to life from her undeath.

Why would she go to the Night Elves? If she came back to life, she'd head off to the Blood Elves. But if she did come back to life, the Forsaken would cast her out and I doubt the Val'kyr's would serve her anymore.
