It's hard to believe that merely one thing changing can cause a massive alteration to the world. Years ago, Durotan and Draka traveled to warn Orgrim Doomhammer about the corruption eating away at the Horde. After letting their old friend know, the two orcs and their son, the infant Go'el, left the camp in the company of 'loyal guards' of Doomhammer...who were really servants of Gul'dan and the Shadow Council. The two Frostwolves were slain, and the baby hidden, till he was found by one Aedelas Blackmoore.
Sounds familiar yes? Sadly, this isn't the story we are used to. Thrall died in the next few months, and all of the plans that Blackmoore had been plotting fell to pieces around him. But, rather then send Blackmoore deeper into the bottle, the opposite occurred. He sobered up, got his life together and hired mercenaries, training them to fight as his own personal army. When the Horde marched north, Blackmoore and his special forces were waiting for them and struck the first blow breaking the charge. This move gained Aedelas massive support, and he, with the armies of Stormwind and Lordaeron, drove the Horde back south, winning battle after battle, and placing himself near the head of the army.
When the army of the Alliance reached Blackrock Mountain, Blackmoore and his forces were the one to face off against Doomhammer and his...and, Aedelas slew the Warchief. With Doomhammer dead, Blackmoore made a pack with the Orcs, gaining their allegiance.
The proud Blackmoore returned to the north and gathered the commanders of the Alliance army, supposedly to thank them for their assistance...and once they were all in the same room, he murdered them all and marched on Capitol City, dethroning the Menethil line and slaughtering Terenas. Declaring himself King of Lordaeron, Blackmoore attempted to strike at Dalaran, but failed, and he learned that the magi had helped Arthas Menethil, Jaina Proudmoore, Varian Wrynn and others escape from his purge.
With the assistance of Genn Graymane and Thoras Trollbane, as well as the Dwarven Kingdom of Ironforge, the Prince, now King of Stormwind and his friends escaped back to the ruins of the kingdom. Stormwind underwent an immediate rebuilding, wanting to prepare for when Blackmoore intended to move south.
With his attempt on the lives of Arthas and Jaina failed, Blackmoore was forced to prepare his land from enemies on all side; Kul Tiras, Gilneas, Arathi stand against him, but the Pernoldes of Alterac joined with Blackmoore's forces, to keep their lands their own. The High Elves and Wildhammers are against Blackmoore, but they are not able to do as much as the other countries to help fight against him.
The Horde learned far too late that aligning with Blackmoore was a fools move; he turned on the orcs as well, slaughtering any he could find, and has since put a bounty out on the orc race, wanting them as slaves and forced fighters. He also had a group at the Dark Portal, and once his forces had finished in the north, ordered them to destroy it to keep any more orcs from reaching Azeroth.
In Stormwind, the eventual romance between Arthas and Jaina came about and the pair were finally married; they have a young son, and named him after Uther.
The only Horde clans to escape the purge were the Warsong and the Frostwolves; but both are forced to remain in hiding while they try to save those captured and used as slaves. The Amani Trolls feel some vague friendship to the Orcs as well, but only because they too are being hunted by the Humans of Lordaeron and the High Elves. The Ogres have formed barrows across the lands, but are hunted as well; and they have a larger bounty then the Orcs. Sadly, all of the human nations feel the same about the orcs and all have the bounty on the races.
This world is different from our own; Blackmoore's coup actually stopped the threat of the Lich King from ever being born, though his primary adviser is the ex-Kirin Tor member Kel'Thuzad. But because of this, many things have changed: the Sunstrider dynasty still rules over the High Elves, who had never lost their Sunwell. The Gnomes had the help of the Dwarves and Stormwind to face off against the threat of the Troggs and Thermaplugg, and never lost their city. The Darkspear trolls were never found, and sadly were wiped out by the Sea Witch. The Tauren were never saved from the Centaur and wiped out as well. The Night Elves still remain within the wilds of Kalimdor, and are rarely seen...though, there have been rumours of purple skinned humanoids seen on the coasts of Eastern Kingdoms at time. The Worgen were never needed to fight against the Scourge, Forsaken and the Demon forces so they have no been formed on Azeroth. And of course, with no necromancy or the Lich King, the Forsaken, the Scourge and the second generation Death Knights were never formed.
So, there's the set up; the southern kingdoms against the North. Please read through, and remember what is and isn't there. No real class restrictions there, as long as they work within the race parameter; again, wowpedia works well for that. So, have fun, and please, remember the rules of the forum alright?

Dennis Hendricks
Hillsbrad Foothills
Human Warrior
A tall, muscular Gilnean human, who is 25 years old, with long black hair streaked through with white. He has dark green eyes, a thin face, and a sharp jaw. Dennis is a bounty hunter who makes a living hunting for orcs, ogres and trolls, and wants to stay away from any of the forces of Blackmoore.
Damn, still not getting any closer.
Dennis thought, as he checked the trail then continued forward. He knew his hunting partner was nearby, and let loose a low whistle, and shook his head when no sound came back.
Damn that pointy eared bastard.
He thought to himself as he moved forward slowly, following the trail of a large orc that they had been hunting for the last 2 days. "I know you can hear me Tae, and when I find you, I'm tying your ears in a knot." He grumbled.
Tae'sash Firebloom
Hillsbrad Foothills
High Elf Magi
Tae'sash is a tall High Elf with light blue eyes and long red hair. He is a 125 years old, and a magus who works mainly on experimenting with magic. He met Hendricks when the two had ended up being forced to hunt the same criminal, and have been working together ever since. Like Hendricks, he is not fond of Blackmoore's forces.
Tae'sash chuckled to himself as he heard the human grumbling and looked down lazily from where he was seated in a tree. "As if you could." He murmured, the spell he had created to let the human hear him whenever he wanted sending the words to the hunter. "Keep moving; there is signs of a struggle so the orc may be injured." He said as he jumped lightly to the ground and moved off, completely silent as only an elf could be. "We should be cautious." He said, and heard the human grunt in agreement.

Character
: John William Cassidy and Talagant Arroval
Location
: Stormwind City
John William Cassidy is a tall, thin to the point of frail human with light - but not pale - skin, long chestnut hair worn in a ponytail and almond-shaped green eyes on a long face that is capable of just a few emotions. He is a skilled engineer and an adept gunman, and earns his living by doing odd jobs, adventuring and some occasional bounty hunting. He is 31 year old.
Talagant Arroval is a talented - yet very ambitious - high elven mage, hailing from a rich and old, but not well-known, family. Leaving the family manor to his older brother, Kareithel, he wanders around the continent, seeking knowledge, ancient artifacts and excitement. Talagant is surprisingly amoral for a high elf - even though few are aware of that. His build is similar to that of John William, he has grayish blue eyes and short ashen blond hair. Due to an unfortunate accident - although he doesn't view it as such - Talagant's tongue is excessively long, and is a cause for his lisp.
"Stash of gold. Hidden within a statue. You gotta be kidding me."
Both were sitting in one of the Old Town's taverns, with nigh identical beers. John William was smoking a large cigar, while Talagant was doodling something on a piece of paper.
"Have I let you down onthe, Johnny?"
"No, and it is the only goddamn reason I allowed myself to be goaded into this."

Character: Sinera Delinarus
Race: Human
Class: Infiltrator
Location: Stormwind
Sinera is a member of a proud family who is loyal to the Lordaraneion crown. Her parent's served as spys and scouts during the war, and after Blackmoore took over they remained loyal to Arthas and began to spy on Blackmoore.
Sinera is fairly average looking. Not too tall, not to wide, not to busty, blonde-brown hair that flows down her back, basic cloth dress, and plain brown eye's. She does however carry concealed weapons in her dress.
Sinera tried not to stick out to much as she headed toward a small bar in the old town district where she would deliver her information to an informant who would be harder to reach then she would if she was caught around the castle. She entered the bar and found a table in the corner to watch for her contact.
She sat down and immediately began scanning the bar to make sure she wasn't being watched.

She scanned the room and saw someone who did something extremely strange when she walked in. She made a mental note to watch him in case he was one who was one of Blackmoore's men. "I wonder when my contact will get here." She thought continuing to look around.

"Slow down Hendricks; he's near." Tae spoke and Hendricks grunted. "Yeah I know, I can smell it." He said as he pulled his weapons off his back. "Got that spell ready?" He asked and Tae grunted in agreement.
"Well, careful then." Hendricks said with a grin as he stalked forward, heading towards where the smell was strongest.

: Fjorndar "Serenade" Basshammer, The Unseen One
Location
: Stormwind
Description
:
Basshammer ((Or Serenade, depending on what mood I'm in when I post)) is a dwarven magic-user, an oddity among the stalwart and adventurous race. He has brown hair and beard which he keeps trimmed and braided. He utilizes a very specific brand of kinectomancy: Audiomancy. He uses sound to defeat his enemies, along with other various utility purposes. He is also trained in the basic elemental arts, and will weave frost, fire, lightning and other things into his waves to make them even more powerful.
Recently, however, he came across a rogue wizard in the hills of Lordaeron, a maverick. Necromancer. He forced the necromancer to teach him all he knew, then killed him. Basshammer experimented with his magics, and discovered that zombies become more quick, agile, reactive and powerful when a simulated heartbeat is played. Delighted in this newfound power, he recruited a second in command, a human shadowmancer who simply goes by the term: The Unseen One, or sometimes Unseen, depending on the context. He has black hair which hangs to his shoulders, and a neat goatee.
The Unseen One specializes in movement and shadow as a means of concealment and torture. He uses dark portals to dodge around his enemies, shadow magic to cloak himself and turn invisible, and shadow to cause pain in his enemies and slay them while they are incapacitated.
As yet, their goals are unknown to all, but them.
"Juggernauts?" Basshammer murmured to himself. He was listening and comprehending every conversation in the bar, although it required concentration. The Unseen One said nothing from his position behind Basshammer's chair, invisible.

As the cart moved along the dirt path Richard started to hear a faint crackling noise from one of the shelves in the cart and reached over and opened it pulling out a tiny headset that was linked to Sparkbolt's suit. "So what about that elf?" Sparkbolt said as soon as Richard placed the set on his head and he shrugged. "Please. You couldn't take your eyes off her." Sparkbolt said causing Richard to point a pistol at the gnome. "Fine. Fine. Maybe she'll warm up to me." The gnome laughed and Richard held his hand level to the cart a few feet up. "That's perfect. I'll be like a teddy bear to her." Sparkbolt said and continued to say some other things but Richard removed the headset and went back to work on his guns.

Sinera
Stormwind
After sitting for awhile she decided that maybe her contact was waiting for her, rather then the other way around. So she stood and walked over to the bar and ordered a thing of tea. There were only a few people in the bar so if her logic was right then one of them was waiting for her, and there had only really been one that had been looking at her when she entered. So once she got her tea she took and walked over to him, though it was strange that he was with someone else.
"excuse me sir," She said speaking to Talagant. "But do you happen to know where the nearest inn is?" She asked trying to begin conversation to maybe trade the secret code so she could deliver her information.
