I hated hybrid builds. Except on DKs, but their trees were really convoluted anyway.

I liked having the extra flexibility to skip out of a tree early.

I don't, but then I only ever saw people doing them incredibly poorly.
Edit: Holy crap double ninja.

Arrania had a decent Shockadin build, as in, the one spec'ed down to Holy Shock in the Holy tree, then managed to get Repentance, Art of War and Judgements of the Bold in the Ret tree. From a PvP perspective, that was actually a pretty decent build.

Yeah I PvP'd with it for a while, in like 3.1 or something.
But I stand by my statement. I've never seen anyone use them well. I can't PvP at all.

There was a hybrid Mutilate spec going around. Raegwynn also used a UH/Blood hybrid for soloing Rotface (UH heavy). Apart from that I never saw any good ones.

Yeah, Raegwynn's UH/Blood specs were pretty cool. That's definitely one of the things I wanted to try to emulate, but I never levelled up a DK in time before 4.0 swung around.

I don't think just leveling it up would be enough to emulate what Raegwynn does :P

I would've started with lower tier bosses first :P
I just wanna solo stuff :P

Didn't you have a prot paladin...?
Post by
donnymurph
Soloing stuff would be fun, I never had the discipline to do high-level stuff though.

I do have a Prot Paladin, but they never had the same sort of survival mechanics that a DK had. A DK doesn't need a cooldown to self-heal, it's just part of their rotation. WoG makes it slightly more viable, I suppose.

Probably less so since the 'nerf every patch since release' deal.

I can't believe you people are worried about your specs rather than whether the guild will reach level 2 before the next Rapture!
Actually, I can't really complain about it, to be honest. At least the guild has given me a reason to sign on to the game again, even if only for a few minutes a day. With more
victims
members, I'm sure we'll reach level 2 in no time. :P

I can't believe how much I have talked about WoW in the last hour.

All we need is one or two people to hit level 80 and then get into srs bznz leveling mode and we're like level 5.
Post by
Squishalot
Actually, it's quite hard. My family's guild levelled 5 characters from 80 to 85 post-expansion, and it still took a never-ending stream of dailies to hit level 5.
Levelling from 1 to 60 on a couple of characters barely made a dent.

I guess I didn't realize how large a guild I was in. We were vying for first to 25 before a bunch of regulars left (MY BAD).

Lol, no guilt there, eh pezz?
MoD is right about one thing though. It'll feel a bit better levelling once we hit level 2.

I'd be in therapy by now if I felt horribly guilty every time I bailed on WoW, to be honest.
