Arya is a pretty good character too. She gets to grow up fast and grow up into someone dangerous. On a semi-related note, does anyone else seem to remember that
Valar Dohaerys
means "All men must die", or is it something I just made up?
That's what she says to the assassin right? I believe that is what it means.I never liked Arya, or Bran, or Catelyn =P
Best characters are Tyrion, Eddard and Jon. Dany is pretty good too.
Whhaaattt?
O.o
How can you not love Arya? She's definitely one of my favorites, along with Jon and Tyrion. Although, I'm definitely interested to see where Bran's story is going as well.
Meh. She was ok, but I never really liked any "spunky child orphan character who lives on the streets." Same reason why I didn't like Lyra in the
Golden Compass
.I think the only character that I really only flat out hate is Joffrey. I mean, sure I dislike Cersei a whole lot, but I can understand why she does what she does. Joffrey on the other hand is just an all around prick.
Is it bad that I really enjoyed the scene where he suffocates to death?

Funden, you missed the small discussion about
valar dohaerys
at the top of the page. And regarding Joffrey: I don't think so, given the way he treated Sansa and Eddard. He's a character that was pretty much intended to be hated, in my opinion.
I didn't realize there was another page =P I just quoted what I saw.
And yeah, Joffrey is a %^&*. There's no saving grace for him.

...
Valar Dohaerys is "all men must live", Valar Morghulis is the "all men must die"..
Right, right, that's what I meant.

Ep4 ending was awesome
""This man came into my house as a guest, and there conspired to murder my son.""

Took a Game of Thrones personality quiz and got the following:
Your result for The Song of Ice and Fire Personality Test ...
Bran Stark
You scored 210 Adaptability, 100 Humor, 420 Integrity and 200 Activity!
When I sleep I turn into a wolf. Do wolves dream?
You are Bran Stark
You have big dreams in life, and you get frustrated with those who think you are unable to achieve them. You love to explore and wish for more adventure in your life. You are generally introverted when it comes to interacting with others, though you have you have been known to have a few rather crazy outbursts. You love animals and feel connected to them. You have psychic tendencies and you know far more about life, and the world, than you let on. You are adventurous, perceptive, and resolute.
You also similar to Catelyn Stark and Robb Stark. Your polar opposite is Asha Greyjoy.
You can test the quiz here:

. Thing is, it forces you to sign up. Just use a trash email account like I did.

I got Bran as well :) Scored fairly low on Activity, Humor, and Adaptability, and very high in Integrity. As expected :)

Drogo is a true badass, it showed last night lol. It pained me inside when the screen faded out and the credits started rolling. I love basically any HBO series but this one takes the cake, I thought Boardwalk Empire and Entourage were easily my favorite until I started seeing the previews to this show last year heh. Next weeks episode is going to be a big lead up, and possibly the start of a awesome war and then the season finale following that might be the most epic episode of TV history.

Odd - I found this last episode (#8) relatively boring compared to the rest. There was a lot more scheming and a lot less action, though Syrio Forell's fight against the swordsmen was nicely done. It bothers me a little that Tyrion almost squirms in front of his father - he is not like that in books, or at least I didn't get that impression. And finally I am not sure that the war between the Starks and the Lannisters will be done well - the declaration seemed hasty to me.

But I likes the scheming. Honestly, the half-man is one of if not my favorite character, and I like that he was finally put in a situation in which he squirms, if he never did it would be a little-sueish. (I'm assuming you mean when he's told he must enter combat.)

If you despise Joffrey (as all right-thinking people do), then
this video will be relevant to your interests

im done with the books. its pretty clear that the author doesent have a clue how to write a book. he builds up tons of history about characters, and then he just kills them off because he had a change of heart and want to make another character the main one. im watching till you see hodor then im done with the %^&*.
