* There were no addons
* The boats would dump all its passengers into the sea to die a "fatigue" death if you didn't
have a hearthstone rdy
* You had to watch a countdown of people leaving the game before you could log on
* A random epic drop before expansions went for a whopping 300-500 gold
* A beast could disrupt (and kill) a hunter trying to tame it
* Hearthstones cool-down was an hour
* Rogues had to have
Thieves Tools
to
lockpick
* Herbs, ore, quests, etc didn't have that little revealing sparkle
* The Horde Happy Hour was spent trashing Astranaar and Westfall and the Alliance worked over
Crossroads and Tarren Mill
* Boats would push an unsuspecting player into the water and everyone would point and laugh as he
swam desperately to get on-board in time
Bring back the agony...er the fond memories of the World of Warcraft that once was with any bits you recall.
Cheers!

I remember when Arcane Brilliance used to cost Arcane Powder, and when they removed the reagent requirement, I thought "Yes! Another free bag slot!". Turns out Ritual of Refreshment still uses Arcane Powder.

I remember this song:
I kill two dwarves in da morning, I kill two dwarves at night,
I kill two dwarves in the afternoon, and then I feel alright.
I kill two dwarves in time of peace and two in time of war,
I kill two dwarves before I kill two dwarves, and then I kill two more.

All Trolls wept when they got rid of that.
To add my 2c:
* When, if an Enhancement Shaman respec'd, they'd lose all their points in their two-handed weapon skills.
* Arcane Explosion had a cast time.
* Captain Placeholder!

Paladin seals were only 30 secs long.
You actually had to travel to the dungeon with your group to run it (mauradon ugh).
Pick up dungeon daily quests.
Currencies/mounts/nc pets used to be placed in your bags and took up inventory space.
Netherwing drakes were the bomb back in TBC.
Herbs, ore, quests, etc didn't have that little revealing sparkle
Ah I remember that, I started playing WoW half way through TBC, and then I saw that sparkles were added around that time in the patches.

Trade: Hey, cool! Blizzard added a new command! If you type /camp, your character sets up a tent and campfire!
*Server population drops by 300*
Netherwing drakes were the bomb back in TBC.
I still use my Netherdrakes.

-When Paladins blessings only lasted 10 minutes "Refresh BoW plz"
-When there were more blessings than just might and kings
-When spriests, balance/feral druids, and dps warriors where almost completely excluded from raids
-When hunters had to pull
-When shaman were only there for bloodlust
-When hunters HAD to stutter step or they were bad
-When shamans and paladins only existed on one faction
-When no one had yet heard the horror of the female belf laugh
-When tanks were warriors and healers were priests
-When you had to train weapons
-When hybrid classes were always asking for money to respec from the people who demanded them to.
-When DK's sucked yet were crazy OP at the same time "DKs CANT TANK ZOMG" - "DKs ARE WAY TO OP ZOMG BLIZZ NERFF THEM"
-When Orgrimmar/Stormwind/Shattrath/Dalaran were nicknamed lag cities. (We're back to Orgrimmar/Stormwind now)
-When Thottbot ruled the WoW database scene (I like it better now)
-When Quest Helper was the coolest thing ever
That's all I can think of for now. I'll probably be back with more.

You kids these days and your ten minute blessings. When I was your age, our blessings were five minutes! And we spent fifteen seconds buffing everyone with it.
-When Orgrimmar/Stormwind/Shattrath/Dalaran were nicknamed lag cities. (We're back to Orgrimmar/Stormwind now)
That was Ironforge for the Alliance, bro.

You had to drop each totem individually.
