8k DPS warrior in a ZA/ZG...
@#$%ing Elistists everywhere. Go back to EJ.
LOLUMAD.
In all seriousness as a fresh dinged 85 with wrath trinkets 10k unbuffed is trivially easy.
If you're only doing 8k in a zandalari, which requires a 346 ilvl btw, then you're doing something glaringly wrong.
Since the topic is entitled "Worst performance you've ever seen in a Heroic", the post I responded to just looks ridiculously stupid. So his
worst
heroic,
ever
, was with a warrior doing 8k dps in ZA/ZG?
Unbelieveable. That must require either partying solely with guild mates who are all pro, or have some really insane luck, if that is the absolute pinnacle of suck you've ever seen in a heroic. Really.

Well I was quiet bitter at the time I wrote that, he had also taken more damage then the tank and was just horrible overall, it was a wonder that he did that much DPS, the tank was actually toping him in DPS.
And I've always been lucky in Heroics, last 4 runs have had a DPS of 14k at minimum and tanks doing more then 8k.

When we asked him why he wasn't pulling his weight in the run, we got: "why u stop?".
Keyboard turning, half afk, clicking, spamming untallented/unprocced slam as fury.
Even then, maybe all of those at once.... I'm a clicker and can pull upwards of 12k easily in bad gear...

I can be afk getting a drink and still pull 5k dps. While clicking all my spells I can easily do 13k. With keybinds and what not ~17k... Only 351 Fury Warrior though. And I always keyboard turn unless I truly need to spin fast or get out of something quick, which isn't often. I can do more dps with 0 gear/weapon and do more than 2k.

I think my worst has to be the tank who insisted on keeping Foe Reaper 5000 down in the furnace area. Twice. After having it all carefully explained to them that if you draw Reapy up the ramp and let the prototype handle the fires, the fight gets a lot easier. And then left in a huff because I couldn't keep him alive - I was kind of busy being AoEd to death by the Molten Slag. If we're talking worst group, though, an abortive H Stonecore run where the tank and DPS all ignored the adds on three separate attempts at Corborus. On the fourth, I blundered into a charge and died, so of course the group kicked me.
Oddly, H Deadmines is also the place I saw the best performance - a full PuG where we all just clicked and managed to clear VanCleef's gauntlet with no deaths and grab the achievement. One of the DPS said it was like a guild run.

I've stopped paying attention to poor hc performance. I gave up on humanity in that regard after I won DPS when playing a friend's warrior. I had no keybindings, no UI and no idea what to do, so I just ran up to mobs, started autoattacking them and clicked Bloodthirst in the spellbook every time it was available. If people can't beat that, there is no hope for them.

That's the saddest thing I've heard today.

I once had a druid "tank" who was dressed in all WHITE/COMMON items and refused to change from Cat to Bear form. It was funny because a Warrior instantly picked up as the tank, so it took me awhile to realize that the kitty stealthed behind me on follow was our "tank"...
not gonna lie, it was incredibly amusing. But by far the worst performance I've ever seen xD
I mean, he must of been doing it as a joke, or how else could he have gotten into the dungeon with whites on, but still... it was a real "wth?" moment

For guild Runs, We've tried switching our weapons out for whites, just for pure amusement. Doable, but tough, and definitely not something you should do in a random LFD group.
Far from the worst, but one just a few minutes ago went along fine, with a pretty Epic group. The average dps was ranging near 19k, one doing
23k single target
, by far the most I have ever seen in a Zandalari Heroic without any of the gimmicky boosts like Frostburn (Or what's-its-name) Elixir. Too bad the 23 K dps had the lowest damage done of everyone cept me, the healer, because he
kept getting killed from obvious mechanics
. I was sighing through half of the dungeon, repeatly attempting to make him take notice of his surroundings, but to no avail, and he didn't utter a word, until I outright stopped trying to heal him. After we kill the boss, he suddenly starts talking, flaming me for being a bad healer. I attempted to reason with him, telling him that my 20 messages about moving out of poisons and such were simply ignored, but again, to no avail. He apparently had the idea that since I was the healer, I was the sole person responsible for him staying alive. Our tank, a guildee I ran with, laughed so hard at him, that he had to AFK to get some fresh air. Some of the stuff he wrote was hillariously stupid, and one of the other DPS ended up kicking him, passing the vote kick before I even managed to accept it.
Seriously, with all his heroic Firelands gear, I feel
really
sorry for the healers who had to carry hiim. It's a wonder he even managed to get that far.

I started tanking ZA/ZG and I must say I did some bad pulls and casue some wipes ><. But I am getting better at this. Hopefully ppl I que is not too angry with me.
They probably are, but don't mind them. I started tanking ZA/ZG
the same day the patch hit live
, and died tons of times in the first dungeon, ZA, due to no knowledge of tactics. Was instantly flamed for being a noob. People have this odd idea in their head that people who sign up for
anything
have a full and comprehensive guide written in their mind on how to complete it. It never occurs to them that you might just be new to this dungeon.
You're better off just shrugging it off if you can. It really does you no good to take it to heart, no matter how difficult that can be. WoW's community in general no longer tolerates "new people", regardless of what content we are talking about. Your best course of action is to find a proper guild and do dungeons with them. The satchel isn't worth some of the idiot you can encounter in there.

My worst wasn't really a bad run, we got through it okay, but we did have a bad mage in the mix. We were running one of the Wrath Heroics, I was on my balance druid and was still kind of new to it, so my dps wasn't great, it wasn't bad, but nothing I would have bragged about.
We had a Prot pally, a Holy Pally (taking my heal spot and forcing me into dps), Rogue, and Mage.
1st trash pull, it goes ok, but seemed to take a bit longer than normal (I start to become self conscious about my inexperience as Balance). The mage had to stop and drink. We pulled again, same thing. Now I'm really feeling bad because I think the mage is going all out to make up for my lackluster dps and going OOM doing so. I apologize and tell them that I normally heal and not dps.
The Rogue says "It's not you, it's the mage, something is very wrong. He's not even pulling 1.5k dps."
. Finally one of the Pally's does an inspect and says "OMFG!" "Are you serious?". Dude was stacking Agility with his gems and had a feral staff equipped. His reasoning was "Agility gives you crit".
I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. We didn't kick him since the tank and healer were way overgeared for it and we most likely could have 4 manned it (pretty much did anyways). At the end one of the Pally's told him to regem int and disenchant that staff.
I have to say, they were probably the nicest people I pugged with through the dungeon finder, 99% of the other groups I was in would have kicked him immediately, possibly me too, I barely pulled 3.5K dps.
I've had some pretty bad runs with multiple wipes, I don't remember the stories behind those, but the mage with Agility gems will always be remembered by me.

I don't see him saying the mage was wearing agility gear. He had agility gems and an agility staff.
