To me, on twinking, the ideal way to set it up would be achievement-like rewards to twink players.
Under the same premise Achievements work - No char empowerment, but cool titles and rewards - the argument of balance could somehow be weaker. However, prior to achievements, how many people tried to throw themselves off high places to see if they could survive with 5% or less HP? How many /loved all critters he came across? The simple existance of a reward is bound to lure players. And if said mounts are BoA... Than I bet a lot would try it.

Yes, but at the basic level they actually have to make twinking possible before implementing achievements. I like how you think though.

Bulletin Board might be difficult to implement in a way. The quests would have to be pretty simple in design (like a turnin) or even use existing quest mechanics. It could work out that way...hmm..
The guild one, however, definitely should have some place in the game.
Here's the problems I foresee though:
1. Bulletin board-related stuff might be doable using other ingame functions (item trading, LFG, and so on).
2. People might not use the feature in favor of trade channel and the like. People are used to the "norm" of things.
3. I could see some coding problems with this...and I'm not even that good of a programmer...
4. Might cause fix-priced marketing.
Oh also, I feel player housing should not be reliant on professions.

Well, to be honest, one of the biggest issues I could see with player housing is storage space.
Blizz is reluctant in increasing bag space. Imagine the amount required to add layers and layers and layers of phasing, or to add instanced places, for each and every player. Now thatis a big stain. If you think about it,
noting
you do in WoW is only seeable to yourself (Even phased quests can be seen by any player at the same staget you are). That level of organisation... I am not Blizzard and can't speak for them, but I just don't see it happening with all that ease.
Bulletin, I would actually see it happen as a reversed AH. "Blacksmith Cloudp requests Adamantite Orex x4. Would you like to complete this mission?", and code it somewhat like an Auction House, only people would request stuff themselves, and "vendors" would complete their quest instead of placing the raw item for the picking. I don't see this one interfering with the code there is -now-, seems like something possible to code in a different class. I don't exactly see how you could go much further from that - requesting NPC kills, could it work?, but probably. To go further than item gathering might actually not be able to use the actual quest design if it's not possible to link it with mail, which would require recoding, but a simple reverse AH, I could see that going.

If Jagex can afford to do it, I'll be damned if Blizzard couldn't afford to do it. But that's why I tried to keep it a bit minimalistic.

Your posts are amazing, but I have one question about dailies...
Wouldn't increasing the number of daily quests a character can do in one day make the in-game economy worse? Many, if not all, dailies have a monetary reward, and if every level-80 and 85 are doing 50 dailies a day, inflation will probably rise a fair amount. I'm just a level-27 noob, so maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, but my post does make sense, then i would appreciate a reply. Thanks.

That is true, but at the moment people do kind of have to pick their dailies.
This will only be exacerbated by the 4.2 dailies. You can only really choose to grind a couple reps/gear/etc. What if you wanted to go do old reputations and stuff? That's mainly the reason for boosting the cap. If the inflation truly gets bad, Blizzard can always reduce gold rewards from quests or add gold sinks, etc. In addition, I also listed an idea for a money sink which is meant to go alongside all my other suggestions (Player Housing) for reasons just like this.

The "Solo" content, player housing, and Astygia's suggestion about skinning items are my favorites, especially the last. I would
love
to be able to skin my really good gear to look like the Bloodfang set. As it is, I can only wear the Bloodfang set when RPing or otherwise just puttering around doing nothing - I can't wear it all the time like I want to because it's so useless stats-wise.

For First Aid interactive, you could make like rubbing alcohol on the wound, then flatten bandage on it? Idk I like the alcohol idea. :)
Except First Aid interactive would involve making the bandages or anti-venom.
In a fight I doubt you'd want an interaction pane when you heal with a bandage...

I was thinking too modern.
No I don't mind your ideas, it's just that one is a bit impractical with the current First Aid mechanics.
(Would be cool if you could manually remove debuffs from yourself using First Aid with that kind of interactions pane though)

In light of the constantly occurring events in WoW and the revealing of what's on the horizon of WoW, I have amended a few parts of the suggestions list, especially in the Solo Content section. Please check it out! =D

Shameless bump, I assume.

This.
In my opinion, good list. It's comparable to the myriad of other lists of suggestions, most of which will never be implemented because Blizzard knows the game better than we do.
(This post is only partially in jest.)

Actually, I really did amend some parts of my suggestions. I'm not about to edit it in where no one is going to see it.

Still a shameless bump :p
