I love how the OP and certain other respondents in the threads act as though these revamped raids-into-dungeons will be the only new content added in Cataclysm.
I think they're just jealous because
Trolls are better than them

As I said on another post, it would be nicer if they put those recycled istances as an extra option, something throw in for the players that didn't have the chance to see the raids back then, ALONG brand new dungeons. Not as the next tier of dungeons.
And ZG/ZA are coming along with brand new dungeons, the Abyssal Maw and Firelands raid.
That's what I said earlier.

What I love about this patch and the expansion in general, is that this brings more realism to the game (lol). It makes Azeroth a changing world. You think anything new that happens HAS to happen somewhere else? All this is, is new events taking place where other events used to take place. Like the riots in Egypt right now, where they used to just own slaves and build pyramids. The place is the same, the events are much different
This actually makes MUCH more sense than keeping all of the vanilla content the way it was; irrelevant.
When we were in Outlands fighting Illidan and his lot, Mankrik was still looking for his wife, nothing changed.
When we were in Northrend punching dead people in the face, Mankrik was still looking for his wife, nothing changed.
Now with Cataclysm, EVERYTHING but Outlands and Northrend changed. There was more new content in Cata than any previous xpac. Hell, you might even be able to say it had more new content than Vanilla!
Plus, most people (myself included) love it that they are updating the old content. It's a throwback to when we first started playing, but making it fresh again.
And stop saying Blizzard is lazy, or talentless. You guys are freaking idiots if you actually believe half the crap you say. If you could take a tour of their facility or meet some of the guys working there, you would be singing a different tune.
Please, by all means, show us that you know so much better than Blizzard. Lets see the video game you created? Every idiot on here 'knows better than blizz'... Why are you still paying the subscription fee then? Personally, I wouldn't give my hard earned money over to a bunch of talentless idiots...
TL;DR - All this is, is new events taking place where other events used to take place.

<3 the Vanessa VanCleef fight.
Mostly agree. (evil, EVIL Mario Bros section :P)

Does this look recycled to you? This looks revamped.

@ ExDementia:
Why insulting? Did someone argued about the sexual behaviours of your mother? Or something much worse, like dared to express opinions about a game on a public forum?
My post was not directed at you, or anyone specific. It was directed at the MANY people on here who say things like "blizz is lazy" or "blizz are a bunch of idiots"
You are actually the kind of poster I like to see in here; a logical counter opinion with out flaming. :)
Edit: Just looked at my post again, I guess I got a bit off track at the end there, just fed up with how much of that stuff I see on these forums about how all these people seem to know better than Blizzard. I see now the post came of a little angry, my mistake. (Not going to edit it out though, whats said is said)

I always pass the Mario bros section, but it is the most adrenaline pumping section. For me, the hardest part is the Fire/Frost section. I know it's just the usual "Don't stand in the fire," but it's actually pretty hard (for me) to not pass through it while avoiding the ice and fighting the boss.

People don't realize it, because the zones are split up, but there are as many major Cata zones as there were Lich King.
Cata = Vash'jir, Hyjal, Uldum, Deepholme, Twilight Highlands.
Wrath = Howling Fjord, Borean Tundra, Dragonblight, Icecrown, Storm Peaks and Sholazar Basin. Wrath had one more original zone than Cata.
Ok you did say "major" zones so I guess you can miss Crystalsong Forest but did you really forget all about Grizzly Hills and Zul'Drak?

For anybody who says that Blizzard is getting lazy recycling old content, I feel complied to say:
A) World of Warcraft is a huge game. Don't EVER call them lazy until you consider the sheer amount of content they have to maintain and put out with regularity.
B) Having actually done both old and new Zul'gurub, I can say the new, revamped version, even in a buggy state, is far more enjoyable then the old 20-man version. I don't feel annoyed at Blizzard for rehashing this content; it's been so long since I've run old Zul'gurub I only feel nostalgia whilst fighting through the instance. If anything, I think it's better for Blizzard to have rehashed Zul'gurub; a new five man would require much more work from Blizzard, and they wouldn't be able to focus as much on the mechanics of the encounters. However, I can personally say the Zul'gurub mechanics are some of the best I've ever seen in a dungeon. I would infinitely prefer fun fights in nostalgic locations to mediocre encounters in new locations.
Also, for those who haven't done Zul'gurub (which I suspect many nay-sayers haven't), why are you complaining? Seriously.
Oh, and some might say Zul'aman won't be as good as Zul'gurub. False. Blizzard has revamped classic instances extremely well in this expansion. I, and all of you, should have no reason to doubt their ability revamping Zul'aman.

O_o It appears I was in error. My apologies.

You know what, I'm fed up with Blizzard right now.
This "Cataclysm" is supposed to be new content right? So why are we still in Azeroth? Shouldn't we be somewhere else, instead of being forced to remain in the "old content" locales? Why can't they build entirely new worlds, rather than taking a cheap shot and simply re-use the locations from the previous two expansions?
And I notice that we're still re-using the old NPCs. Deathwing? Faction leaders? Dragon Aspects? What the hell?
Speaking of which - the 10 classes. Rather than create new ones, the 4.0 "patch" simply recycles the old classes. Sure they revamped the talent tree and everything, but it's obvious that Blizzard is too lazy to create new classes for this supposedly new expansion. I thought 4.0.6 will give us something new - but again, just recycling the same, old, tired specs.
If Blizzard won't give us entirely new world and classes right now, me and my 10- no, 50 buddies will quit WoW right now!
