And I certainly hope against hope that they repeal the target limitation on SV’s aoe. Make it do less damage, sure, but let us aoe all our targets! And bring MM and BM aoe up while you’re at it! Please!

Shame they can't just change it to
Targets hit by your Multi-Shot also take addition damage equal to 1 second of your Explosive Shot.
Targets hit by your Multi-Shot also take addition damage equal to 20% of your Serpent Sting.
It seems a copout limiting the stings on the targets. Maybe even add Multi shot to lock and Load

Someone in this forum said not long ago, that the Volley ability that we had, had a capped overall damage, that would raise as the number of targets raise, until it hits 10 targets. And then, for every number of targets beyond 10, each target would take less damage, inversely proportional to the total number of targets. Keeping the overall damage equal as if only 10 targets were hit.
e.g.:
05 targets hit = 0500 damage overall = 100 damage per target
10 targets hit = 1000 damage overall = 100 damage per target
20 targets hit = 1000 damage overall = 050 damage per target
So, why don't use the same mechanics with the Serpent Spread?

because SS isn't AoE, it would take new code and techniques to do that. I doubt they would take the time to figure it out when they can fix it as easily as limiting.

No, thats not what i meant. I worded it badly. Basically, Multi shot is classed as an AoE ability. They can cap those abilities to the ten player easily. However, ISS and SS only interact with Multishot. They are not classed as AoE abilities themselves, they just interact with the current one.

Yes and no. Its just a quick fix which is disappointing, Multishot is useless for any spec hunter now.
Would be nice to see them to is spec wide, example being multi shot does 33% damage of your explosive shot and them maybe 25% of your chimera shot etc etc.

Hell. I wish they'd just make Multishot not suck. That might completely solve the problem.
I.e. increase it to 75% weapon damage.
Also, incorporating Explosive Trap would be nice (by lowering or removing the cooldown. I don't know. It's stupid we have a 30 second cooldown Flame Strike.)

Probably. As it is I think Explosive Trap is currently superior.

I'm curious how Cobra Shot and Steady Shot will be changed, since they intend to re implement the haste scaling once they get it working as they intend (if I'm interpreting that correctly).
My wild guess is that they will nerf it. Haste needs for a hunter are either too low (7%) or too high (+60%). And I think they'll settle it about 25%.

It's meant to give more focus with haste. Which would be good with rapid fire as Survival or just good in general! Seems odd that we hit the 7% odd haste cap easily this tier. Maybe it will be hard to get the cast time down?

Hmm... that could be the way. Difficulting the cast time haste scaling, and giving the focus bonus a haste scaling.

I just think its a bit crazy knowing that we dont need more haste and were free to stack mastery and crit as much as possible. Doesn't sit right with me. Its nice to see them go back on a few nerfs. even if only a little
