4.0.1: DPS Warriors Dissapear?

So reforging/regemming to get hardcapped on hit (27%), both of our Fury warriors were around 8k dps on Toravon, whereas we both would previously be over 11k on him. Mages and warlocks were steadily pulling 13-15k on every boss now. Melee are abysmal currently. A Ret pally with Shadowmourne was struggling to break 11k.

US servers got a stealth buff for warriors, ferals and pallies. Liking the changes so far, have yet to test in a raid.
My dearest hope is that we aren't terribly OP and get re-nerfed.

what was the buff? i finally got my dps set together and it felt decent last night in heroics, but this is good news.
we had a destro lock pull 19k on saurfang last night... can i catch him, lol?

Warrior dps abilities had their base damage increased on us servers today. I haven't had a chance to check it out, but some people reported seeing an increase on the target dummy of 1-1.5k. Mortal Strike apparently hits extremely hard now.

The buff is wide reaching, but minimal. For example, Raging Blow has gone from 100% to 125% damage, but it still sucks big time.
You sure it's not doing the 125% because of the learned Mastery skill (and the base 8 points)? Until you learn it Raging Blow has only 100%. Or does it now do 150% with learned Mastery (and the base 8 points).

fury warrior dps check: (in my case, no DBW, Deaths Choice, or Whispering Fanged Skull)
1. get rid of all gear with AGI stam, leather gears.... only use plate gear, and STR Stam gear....
2. completely regem all those ArP (now crit) to STR gems = dps boost...
3. my previous 4pc t10 dps set gets shelved... DEEP Wounds is kinda out of reach, so no point in using 2pc t10 gear....
4. too much haste when i finished the patched, but now we have a REFORGER, cool
5. all extra haste, reforged to HIT, get it close to 27% and xpertise still 26 is good... (don't add mastery for now)
6. 27% HIT hard capped, great for rage gen, then more Heroic Strikes...
recount DPS on heroic dummy: 5.4k, with Latency of 280...
for me, this is on par with my previous DPS before patch...
breakdown of damage: (i believe this would be standard with 27% HIT)
#1 is Melee, because no more miss on 83 boss...
#2 is Blood thirst
#3 is Heroic Strike
#4 is Raging blow
all i can say is now we have to mash 2 more buttons, berserker rage to help be ENRAGE all the time for Raging Blow to work, and to always Battle Shout when its not on CD for extra rage.
back in business for FURY Warriors =)

Me and another fury warrior in my guild were messing around and found that for target dummy dps, haste wins out over crit once your crit is 33% (to maintain Flurry). Swapping otu a lot of crit for haste pushed target dummy dps from 6.7k to 7.2k.

Arms
Rend base damage has been increased by 50%.
Bladestorm now deals 150% weapon damage, up from 100%.
Mastery: Strikes of Opportunity now deals 115% normal damage, up from 75%.
Fury
Slam now deals 150% weapon damage, up from 100%.
Whirlwind now deals 75% weapon damage, up from 50%.
Raging Blow now deals 150% weapon damage, up from 100%.
Bloodthirst now scales from 75% of Attack Power, up from 50%.
Bloodsurge now also makes Slam free to cast.

Even though warriors lost in pure damage I think we started to hit much faster. My usual rotation for Arms is "Rend, Mortal Strike, Slam, Overpower, Slam, Heroic, Mortal Strike, Rend" or something like that. With the rage normalization system implemented the first thing I did was to regem for a hard cap hit rating 24%(I could be wrong but I think that's for the fury warrs since they have precision) and get my crit back to 37%(52% chance for Mortal Strike to Enrage) with the help of reforging and gems.
the hit cap for arms is 8%...

HIT cap for fury 27% (24 + 3 from precision)
for ARMS only 8%, mouse over the HIT, if you see 0 miss, you're good.

I would say we are back again on about the same lvl as pre-patch in terms of DPS. I went from doing 12-14k most bosses to doing 13-15k, so the hotfix really helped :D

Actually 22 for no dodges is being tested by the fellows at EJ, and i went with 22 expertise on MH/OH to ICC and on all the raid i didn't get a single dodge (got a few parry's, but it might been wierd positioning on a few fights), also did a 10k hit test on the boss dummy and no dodge there either. Don't know if it's a bug, but right now we don't need to get to 26 expertise to remove dodge chance.
And on the last phase of LK when you get ressed I only did execute, resulting in 24k dps for that short period, only one that beat me was a fire mage with 27k dps.
