My favorite place is the area where Mulgore, the Barrens and Stonetalon Mountains meet. Currently, it can only be accessed by climbing in the mountains behind the Horde settlement Malaka'Jin. It's rather eerie as it's clearly not supposed to be a place you can access with the way the textures from the three different zones all come together. You can tell they just butted the three zones against each other without trying to make it look natural since they figured no one would ever see it. This WILL be changed in Cata. It will likely just be mountains that flow naturally from one zone to another whereas there is currently a depression where you can become trapped.
I found this long ago, in Vanilla, during my exploration phase. It was fun seeing exactly where one could get by climbing mountains. While I'm sure I can't be the only person to find this place, I have never seen it mentioned before.

Nagrand is amazing.
Also, the Bone Wastes is hauntingly beautiful, with the ruins of Archidoun.

There are a lot of places.
The trees in Grizzly Hills, Hellfire Penninsula from the moment you pass through the portal, sitting atop a floating rock in Nagrand, Looking towards the sea from Howling Fjord.
People say that WoW has poor graphics, but I think the landscape, especially OL and NR, has a sort of beauty towards it. If WoW has poor graphics, then its in the small models and doodads, not the landscapes.
The texture draw distance and pattern sizes were the main issue. However, Wrath+ has now fixed that problem and with a new water shader coming in, WoW is meeting its style. That is, more concept art like, which is pretty awesome.

I go up to one of the floating isles high above Nagrand, zoom out to see the clear crystal sky and green lush lands below, and remind myself that Outland is the mutilated world it is today.

I don't think anything beats Mulgore for me, but Grizzly Hills is very nice. When I first made my tauren, I quested at night, and I don't think anything in this game beats looking for Ghost Howl with the moon shining down,
