But really, the skeleton armies that Sylvanas and Nathanos Marris summon and the original Black Arrow spell should really speak for themselves.
well I'll be damned, then she's one heck of a hypocrite woman, I mean, hating the mindless undead, but creating them nonetheless?

There was never an example of Alchemical ways of rising or creating undead constructs.
Abomination
, says that magic was used to help animate them.
Flesh Titans
, stitched together and powered by 'lightening'(read as magic more then likely).
Flesh Golems
.. not sure how to classify that thing....
And of course, there is this book too.

The difference between the Forsaken's necromancy before, and now, as I see it, is the ability to impart will into their creations.
Previously, the skeletons and other constructs that the Forsaken could create were mindless. Puppets. Animated bone and flesh.
What the Val'kyr are doing was Scourge exclusive: reanimating bodies with the soul intact. They can resurrect people's minds and wills, as well as their bodies.

What I believe to happen, is eventually Loyalist Forsaken betray the Horde. Horde soldiers and Horde Forsaken attack the Undercity and slay/capture Sylvanas. Perhaps through phasing.
Sorry that's all I got =P

We know very little as for now. Yeah, now Sylvanas is able to create more Forsaken but, do they are instantly loyal to Sylvanas upon resurrection? Do they go through a phase of "denial" of their new self before accepting who they are now? Or, do they even accept that they are, well, walking corpses?
What have been fueling the Forsaken until now was revenge, revenge against The Lich King. So, what motivates this new Forsaken?
This question will probably be answered during questing at Arathi Highlands. (this might be spoilers so if you don't want to hear them, skip this part).
The prince Galen Trollbane is killed by Forsaken and after is resurrected as an Undead. He will probably become a new questgiver in the Forsaken outpost of Galen's Fall.

And then the "If I can't be happy, you can't be happy" mentality.

That's wonderful!
Well, not wonderful for Galen, of course. Pretty much sucks for him.
However, I'm really looking forward to doing that quest chain now. I can only imagine what this will mean for the future. *Is looking forward to the eventual epic showdown between undead Galen and living Danath for he throne of Stromgarde*

I really hope this set the base for the return of Danath Trollbane and the reclamation of Stromgarde for the Alliance.

Desire to survive as a civilization, for one thing.
Now thats unlikely to be the case. The original Forsaken hated those who raised them into Undeath: the Scourge. The question is: why don't the new Forsaken hate those who risen them, the original Forsaken, and defect Ebon Blade style to the Alliance?
Unless the Alliance shuns them for some reason or they actually feel good as undead.... I'm expecting a very creative reasoning from Blizzard.Well, they might not.
I would not be at all surprised if these 'fresh' Forsaken ended up turning on Sylvanas.
As for desire to survive, I meant for what is driving the Forsaken now, sorry. They want to survive as a civilization, so they make new Forsaken.

What am I supposed to be looking at? The page says he is alive in lore and says nothing about him in Cataclysm.
Look harder. It is there.
