Depending on the group you have HoR can be a total faceroll or a wipefest. I like and hate the place at the same time. As much as I extend the ID for that instance every single day not to get into it via random dungeon finder
You can still get it through random dungeon finder......even if you are locked. The LFD tool doesnt take into account lockouts if you select random, you just cant pick one specifically if you're locked.....
Ah, but you are actually much less likely to get it by doing this. Its actually quite a clever move. The LFD tool forms the group, and then first tries to pick an instance that everyone is not saved to - it does this to reduce the chance of you running the same one multiple times per day.
Ive actually once done a Forge of Souls run. We get to the end, and decide to do a run of Pit of Saron together. So someone re-joins us (I know I was set on "do FoS or PoS only" not "random). We accept without reading. And Forge of Souls loads. It gave us the EXACT same instance we were standing in...
I never liked Gnomer. It just seemed like that place was designed to screw me over.
Oculus was fairly hated by me, because the Drake mechanics, no matter how understood, were different. Of course, the nerfbat hit it, and I dont mind it as much anymore.
Halls of Stone and that damn tribunal. But, its almost too easy now.
Im currently not a fan of Halls of Reflection. Its not that its hard - its just tricky and easy for things to go wrong.

Wow - has everyone blocked Sunken Temple from their memories? That place was to be avoided like the plague owing to the cluster of figuring out where the heck you were.
I haven't done many of the Outlands instances, though I'm not a fan of Sethekk Halls. Least favorite instance in LK is probably UK or the Nexus at this point. Booo-ring!
I simply don't queue for ST anymore.
ST-->Mauradon-->Ulduman-->Gnomer-->Auchindon-->all other BC heroics (every one of them... except maybe Quel'Danas)-->Scholo (Yes, I hate it)-->OC (not so bad, but the players...)

I really hate people who take the opinion that HoR is a ^&*!ty instance to be "making WoW easier". Things HAVE to be easier due to the LFD tool. It was different in the old days when you had to actually form a group yourself and you could get a better idea of how different people play, and if they sucked you could always call them out in Trade chat and get them blacklisted.
Great way to teach people to improve /applause.
Either way i hate:
Vanilla:
Dire maul
, takes far too much time. That is if you count all three instances.
The Burning Crusade:
Hellfire Ramparts
I have done it so many times it drives me crazy.
The Wrath of The Lich King:
Halls of stone
all the way the Brann event is far too long. Can heal it using a
Circle of Healing
every so often whilst on forums. Waste of time.
Favorite 5-mans though include:
Vanilla:
Zul'Farrak
, Just for the temple event with hundreds of mobs. Great fun!
The Burning Crusade:
Magisters' Terrace
. I love the last boss encounter and
The Little Phoenix
The Wrath of The Lich King:
Halls of Reflection
. Mainly because it occasionally provides a challenge!

Except Gnomeregan, I like every vanilla instance, even BRD.
In BC, Auchenai Crypts. It kinda lacks feeling.
WotLK, weel it would be Oculus and HoS. I jsut don't feel like flying in an instance, and the Brann event..

Violet Hold, Culling of Strat, and Halls of Stone. Yeah, I really wanna sit through this bull^&*!. WTB mobs spawning all at once.

Classic: Wailing Caverns or Gnomeragon. Both are long, repetitive, and ridiculously boring.
TBC: Black Morass. Took forever to get to the caverns of time. You had to run the other caverns of time instance first, just to get this one unlocked. You had to clear non-elite alligators and other crap before you could really even start it.
WotLK: Utgarde Keep. To me, it looks like an intern at Blizzard spent 10 minutes making the whole instance. For whatever reason, it looks like the instance that had the least amount of time devoted to it.

I hate old kingdom. Too many patrols that appear out of nowhere. 3-4 monster pulls that are hard to manage as it is become 7-8 monster nightmares without any warning.

Woodrun
Oculus
, only because people dump it so many times when it comes up.
H HoR
when DPS doesnt know the fights. Kill order does mean something here.
The first time I CCd the Marksman, the tank laughed his @zz off.
Deadmines
cause no one would watch for the patrols that spawn when you open doors.
I like most instances alot, but not bothering to at least find out the basics of each instance before you tackle it is what I truly dislike.

Pit of Saron. Fix Tyrannus please. Yesterday, I logged on late to get my two frosties. The group I was in ran into the Tyrannus bug again. This time, we couldn't make him reset though.

Worst:
Vanilla - WC/ST/BRD all are just complete mazes I get lost in.
BC - Old Hillsbrad too much running and flying and talking.
LK - HoR most tanks don't know what to do.
Favs:
Vanilla - BRD because you can gain 3 levels in there if you get a complete run. :D
BC - Magister's Terrace because it was something new at the time it came out.
LK - FoS simply because it's a really fast dungeon I run everyday, though Nes dropped 1 time and a tank ninja'd it from me. I had a 83 roll, he had a 85. : / Still my fav though. I still need the bag.
