Tailoring past 445
Return to board index
Quick q re tailoring. Have tailoring at 443 (i think) on my lock. I have been gathering the different cloths ebon, spell and moon with a mind to get to 450 however....
sell for roughly 150g on my server.
The four pieces of cloth i would use to make them sell for roughly 400g. Add in the 20g for the orb, 20/30 for the imbued frostweave and you can see that selling the mats alone just seems alot more profitable.
I dont raid Icc other than i happen to get an invite from my guild so managing to get patterns above and beyond the normal vendor tailor patterns is not likely to happen.
What would you do ? atm i have roughly 1k of cloth in my bank and i am inclined to just start using this as a mat selling proff and just forget about those last 7 skill points which will appear to cost me muh more than 1k to make :P
If 450 means nothing more than saying "Woot! Im 450" Id probably suggest you not level it. It sounds like it will be very unprofitable for you to level. So unless you are wanting to get it to 450 because of epic patterns and such, I'd say just wait until Cataclysm, as they usually put in very easy patterns that will most likely be learned at 425.
I would personally wait till the next patch then level it the rest of the way. I have made roughly 14k by selling Royal Moonshroud Bracers on the AH. I find it very profitable and easy since I buy the mats on AH (usually 1.5-2k profit each bracer)
