120 frost emblems, what to do? (tier not attractive)

Reducing the time on my Elem Mast isn't very attractive to me, the 2 set bonus blows arse loads tbh. So I'm at a stand still on what to do with my emblems to be exact, I don't wanna make a stupid move spending them somewhere else.

(side note: i still have a trophy in my bank I could use to upgrade one of my t9 peices to the next level from ToC, just haven't done it yet)

Not withstanding your apparent hatred of DPS increases...why would you not want to upgrade 232 to 251 gear?

Also: Buy T10. Almost every bloody piece is a straight upgrade, regardless of "unattractive" set bonuses (which are clear DPS upgrades as well.)

Buy T10. Almost every bloody piece is a straight upgrade, regardless of "unattractive" set bonuses (which are clear DPS upgrades as well.)
Indeed. The 2-set bonus is actually incredibly nice, as it first of all scales with haste, and basically halves the CD of EM, if you're continuously casting.
Otherwise, of the offpieces, the totem and the belt are a must, without doubt.

Go get your T10, and learn to use elemental mastery liberally, as your own private mini heroism. Blow it, abuse it, do whatever you want with it, as long as you use it.

Well, it's true (currently) that 4pc T9 is indeed better than 4pc T10 ... so yay for stumbling onto that little annoyance. They're still tinkering with the 4pc T10 on PTR, and hopefully the next patch (3.3.3) will have a 4pc T10 worth getting into ... hopefully.
However, that's not your problem. They're talking about i245 and i258 T9. The stat improvement from i232 to i251 overwhelms the set bonuses. And, as previous posters said (and in my experience) the 2pc T10 isn't terrible. Popped judiciously during fights (instead of blindly upon availability) will show a healthy dps increase for you.
But given the price on tier gear .. you need more emblems. Given you're already sporting i245 pieces, getting the belt and totem aren't going to be your best upgrades. Really, upgrading from i232 to i251 is the best way to go.

Also, make sure you use the Instant cast with a Lightning Bolt, as it's the only spell that will give you an actual DPS-increase.

This macro might help out on Elemental Mastery, basically you replace this with you Lightning Bolt cast. You can simply spam it and when Elemental Mastery is off cool down it will use it for you. When EM is on cool down you wont see the error message or the sound effect when you click/press the macro, it just casts Lightning Bolt.

Also just a heads up on the Tier set bonus changes.
Item - Shaman T8 Elemental 2P Bonus - Increases periodic damage done by your Flame Shock ability by 20%. (Old - The periodic damage dealt by your Flame Shock can now be critical strikes.)
Item - Shaman T10 Elemental 4P Bonus - Your Lava Burst spell causes your Flame Shock effect on the target to deal at least two additional periodic damage ticks before expiring. (Old - Your Lava Burst spell increases the duration of your Flame Shock effect on the target by 6 sec.)
