First, are you sure you aren't entering Invisbility? With raid damage, you'll rarely notice actually entering. Sometimes the only indication is that your threat gets wiped. As for why it wouldn't, only CC is supposed to stop it.... So it shoudn't be stopping.
Invisbility is a total threat wipe. If he came back towards you, it was either a glitch due to interacting with Mirror Image or some such, or you never entered invisbility... Or something. I don't know. Definitely strange.
As for the MI/4pc and Living Bomb interaction, two things.
- I'm pretty sure all damage goes up when you get damage modifiers. So if you LB then MI, it should be affected. I think.
- And it would have only taken you 30 seconds to find out. 1- Go to test dumby. 2- Cast LB. 3- Cast MI. Did your damage go up? Then you know. Did it not? Still know.
