Okay
So I just started using random dungeon finder and am happy to the old 5 man dungeons as I enjoy them but want to be the best player I can be.
I have had a really good skim thru most posts but they all seem to be either a/ too techie for me ( stats n stuff - dont really understand ) or b/ aimed at level 80's .
Can anyone please put on an easy guide in plain english for those of us who dont understand all the techie stuff?
I would like to know which talent tree is best for old world 5 man dungeons and which pet - I presume IMP. Can anyone give me an example spec to give me the best chance of DPS in these instances.
Thanks

At your level, yes, the Imp is the best pet to break out in a dungeon. He does damage, and he does it from a distance. He also gives your entire party a nice health buff. Just make sure to keep him on Defensive or Passive. You don't want him going off, half-$%^&ed, and bringing a bunch of monsters down on you. If you were to bring your Voidwalker, you would want to make sure that his abilities to get aggro would be turned off autocast. (They wouldn't have the glowing border around Torment and Suffering) And if you were to bring your Succubus, she would be able to help with damage, but she wouldn't be providing a decent buff to the party.
And dhampri is right... you can do just about whatever you want. But, since you came here asking for advice? If it were me, I would prolly work towards having
something like this by level 30. The reasons being, you could dish out a pretty good amount of damage, through Corruption and a Curse (prolly Curse of Agony), and Drain Life/Drain Soul. (Switch to Drain Soul after your victims are below 25% health) You would be able to toss out an instant-cast Shadow-Bolt with decent frequency (for more damage), and you would have Siphon Life, to feed your victims' life back to yourself.
You would also have slots open for two major and one minor glyph. I'd suggest Life Tap (for a boost in spell power, for 40 seconds after you Life Tap), Corruption (for more of those instant-cast Shadow Bolts), and Unending Breath. (Just because it makes swimming a bit more tolerable, when you're out questing. And occasionally, in dungeons)
I have been running a healer at that level, and I'm noticing that a lot of Warlocks forget to Life Tap. Or, they just don't know to use it in the first place. At the very least, once your mana gets down to half, you're better off doing a couple of Life Taps. The Siphon Life talent would be wasted, if you were at full health. (And, as a healer, I find it more efficient to heal two, or even three, Life Taps instead of one) Just make sure you don't do one massive lifetapping session, reducing your health to nothing, and giving your poor Healer a heart attack. ;-)

Can't use demo till you get a felguard, theres just no point. You missing out on talents that make your spells hit harder for other, less useful, talents.
Afflictions always been my pve spec because it's a piece of cake to do high (enough) numbers.
I mean i just threw points at the tree here but you have both corruption enhancing talents, CoA enhancing talents, DS enhancing talents, suppresion if you need it (if not then all the other places to put the points are just as useless xD) and imp drain soul because idc where else to put the point... anyway
