Look for things like "of the physician" or "of the invoker"

Things with +spell power, + mp5, and + int.

There's a whole lot of craftable stuff that you can grab either by watching the AH, asking a friend to craft it or simply posting in trade chat. Don't hesitate to wear non-plate, though some of it won't be especially optimized for you.

On dungeon drops... as long as there isn't a DEer in the party, the item's still there and can be traded to you. Often times people will give you stuff if it's an upgrade, even though they won the greed roll. Just ask.
