If you have t10 legs and shoulders,
Gloves of the Great Horned Owl is probably what you should next spend emblems on. Definitely go for 2t9 til you can afford to get 4t10 264, unless you have 258 2t9 in which case wait til 277 t10 to go for the 4 set. I got the idol after the 2t10, cloak and belt. It's worth is in its uptime; because it is kept up by both IS and MF it is much less likely to fall off than the old idol which frequently did on high movemen encounters.
If you do choose this route, I would hesitate to use the Horned Owl gloves. The cloth equivalent is much better.

Here's what I did with my gear:

Because of the nature and distance of the movement. Im not talking about just stepping out of the fire a la Koralon, this does nothing to your dps at all! I'm talking more along the lines of having to run for burning bile when u get toxin from Acidmaw, (they are tanked apart so youre not facing when you have to move - I guess you could argue that u could drop a MF on Dreadscale...), getting out of the way of Icehowl's crash, (if you're in the middle of an eclipse you're not gonna break a SF to drop MF on him), running to change aura on Twin Valks... then there's situations where your target dies, ie Jaraxus adds or Anub adds out of phase 2. The situations aren't going to stop happening because you have the new idol, but because you activate it with 2 spells you are likely to get a greater uptime than the old one.
I guess my issue is that pretty much all of those situations can be avoided by being smart enough to multitask a little. Strafe to get burning bile so you can throw a MF at Acidmaw, or as you suggest, just throw a MF on Dreadscale. It's not as though your'e doing anything else while you're running over there. The same thing applies to Valkyrs and any other fight that requires you to run to a specific place to do something. As you already said, just having to move out of "the fire" doesn't really affect anything so we'll ignore that.
The only other situation where it might be an issue is add fights, like Jaraxxus or Deathwhisper. But again, with a little forethought you can keep MF ticking on the main boss for most of those fights anyway.
In short, it really shouldn't be that hard to keep the buff up from the Triumph Idol. And here's the crux of it for me, if you're having trouble keeping that buff up, there's every possibility that you're going to get confused and lose the buff on Frost Idol. It might be slightly less likely because you have a bit more time, but not that much. And if, for some reason, the buff does fall off, the stacking nature of it means that it's going to take that much longer to get back to full power.
Add that to the fact that it's just not that much more of a buff than the triumph idol and it really probably ought to be the last purchase anyone makes with emblems. (In my opinion, all of these factors pretty much apply to all three Idols. They just aren't worth getting any time soon.)
I don´t like the RNG with eclipse or
Idol of Lunar Fury (it feels as I can be everywhere between 4,5k-6,5k DPS). Thinking about if the next step would be the to get
Idol of the Lunar Eclipse for better uptime
You do realize that Idol of Lunar Fury has something like a 70% proc chance, right? There's really no reason, if you have even one MF going at all times, that it should ever be down.
