Heya everyone, I have a few questions im a bit unsure about when I hit 80 on my shaman.
Currently im leveling as enhance but have no clue on what spec to go. Resto is not an option as I have a holy pally main. I also have an 80 hunter that I used to raid naxx with.
My first question is what spec is more fun, challenging and gives out decent numbers.
2nd is how badly gear dependant this spec is.
If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Why is resto out of the question? Holy paladins are single target healers (tank healers) and resto shamans are raid heals primarily so healing on a shaman would be completely different than your pally (resto shamans are sometimes asked to tank heal but this is rare).
Both enhance and ele put out good dps so play whichever you want. You can either go melee or be a caster. However you may want to decide based on who you raid with... if you raid with a lot of casters you may want to be elemental or if you raid with a lot of melee you might want to bring enhancement buffs for them.
Personally I think enhancement is more fun and dynamic than elemental but that's just my own opinion. It probably has a lot to do with the fact that I already have a caster dps alt and I think the wolves are just... well amazing.
As far as gearing goes elemental is probably more forgiving, although you may have to fight with some clothies for gear on your way up.
Try them all. Decide. Move on.
