I understand if you are yet reluctant to spend gem (via emblem or gold), enchant material on lower ilvl items but I'll give it a go so that you can take into consideration next time you gem, enchant (I'm sure some things I'll say, you may already know)

Problem with your,
Head : Use either
Chaotic Skyflare Diamond,
Relentless Earthsiege DiamondChaotic is better for DK in terms of dps but Relentless has easier time matching sockets. (and I'm sure depending on gem, socket bonus, Relentless may come out superior)
As the socket bonus for your head piece is 8 str, you should have used
Nightmare Tear, which will give you 1 blue socket requirement (+yellow socket requirement if you plan to use Relentless meta gem)
Shoulder: I see you haven't yet opened
Sons of Hodir faction. They have the best shoulder enchant for dps
Greater Inscription of the Axe (not counting scribe's talent enchant)
Use
Inscription of Triumph until you can get enough rep.
Back:
I don't know which one is better for dps DK: haste, agi. If I remember correctly what my guildy told me, I think he said haste is better for unholy dps than agi.

Leg: Icescale Leg ArmorFeet: If you needed blue socket requirement, gem should have been better. (wowhead doesn't have link)
Epic gem should be your gem choice to match blue socket requirement now.
(if you plan to use Relentless meta gem, no need. 20 str for red socket, Nightmare Tear for yellow and blue socket requirement, finished)

Mor'kosh, the BloodreaverYou'll notice they're both ilvl 245 weapon. But because of much higher top, end dmg, it is better for DK class who have lot of instant attacks.

thread. I didn't use the same weapon on my math but you'll see how AP and weapon spd contributes to more high top, end dmg.)
But this is all theorycrafting, I'm not sure how it will turn out though. (my main is a holy pally. I have pretty decent ret gear but I don't think my guild will allow me to go as ret, so I can't test it myself *cough*)
I would say 'Check Rawr to be sure' but I don't think even Rawr will show you the right result. Rawr assumes you are not hit or expertise capped and gives results.

Never put a Nightmare Tear in a yellow socket with 8 Str bonus. Put an Inscribed Ametrine in it. Move the Tear to a competitive blue socket, if available.
Everything else you said is fairly close to accurate and would all be improvements to his character.
However, I would like to add that the OP's Hit is WAY too high and Expertise is VERY low. Work on both of those.
