Trolls in WoW are annoying. Trolls on forums are annoying. Do the math.

Human and night elf males are annoying, shall we call forum trollers night elves from now on?
Or how about gnomes? forum gnomes.

Yes!
I am Alliance, and I hate Nelf and gnomes.

Troll has been around for a very long time. Not sure where it started honestly. I would say check wiki, it might know. I'm a bit to lazy to go look right now :P

yup:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troll_%28Internet%29
The contemporary use of the term is alleged to have first appeared on the Internet in the late 1980s, but the earliest known example is from 1991. It is thought to be a truncation of the phrase trolling for suckers. That phrase is itself derived from the fishing technique of slowly dragging a lure or baited hook from a moving boat, waiting for fish to strike, a technique known as trolling. The word also evokes the trolls portrayed in Scandinavian folklore and children's tales, as they are often creatures bent on mischief and wickedness. The verb "troll" originates from Old French "troller", a hunting term. The noun "troll", however, comes from the Old Norse word for a mythological monster.

Imagine a halfbreed Night Elf / Gnome individual... Short. Round. Annoying voice. And BIG EARS to toss them with!
(It'd make a better Olympic sport than Curling)

Whaddayaknow... You just described goblins.
(Not trying to spark a worgen vs. goblin fight, and I have nothing against goblins, the description just sounded like goblins to me.)

ZachUSAman is right. I've trolled fish many a time. It's nothing to do with races in wow. (BTW, trolling is really good if you're on your way somewhere - worms if you're on a lake for trout/perch etc., bits of crisp packet at sea for mackerel. off topic but good info)

OMFG, you're RIGHT!
And yeah... I'm a bit disappointed that we Hordies aren't getting the Worgen. But I guess Blizzard had to toss the Alliance a bone. ;-)
