Heros for the Alliance?

Seems like there are many 'nuetral' Ally Heros
The formation of the grand alliance was formed to battle the demon led horde.
Now however that the horde is no longer that demon lead army, and respected heroes in there society as much as the alliance have in theres (notice the statue in dalaran after the fall of the lich king pays respect to both horde and alliance heroes), those heroes within the alliance who can see beyond past grudges don't carry that same hatred. Tirion, Jaina, Brann (after Ulduar), Malfurion, Khadgar, despite there loyalties to the alliance, they manage to see past what happened in the past (how a war vet is able to see past blaming all germans or japanese today for crimes of the past).
So well these character are heroes of the alliance, there not in the sense of alliance characters that would join in with a pointless grudge war people like Varian and Garrosh would fight over.

most of the heroes of the alliance are either dead, or no longer part of the alliance.
as ronin, tirion, kadgar to name a few have left the alliance and are now neutral.
that's one thing I love about the horde :P our heroes remain horde till the end of their days (particulary orcs) and even in death they go down in a blaze of glory.
Tirion said he is going to remain loyal to the Alliance until his dying day (but I already told you that, so believe what you want), and Khadgar did not leave the Alliance just because he doesnt show it in game-he still has the 'Sons of Lothar' title.
tirion said that he would remain loyal to the alliance, in the sence that he would never do anything to bring harm to the alliance.
that being said, he's no longer a part of the alliance chain of command, if he were, then any alliance oficial could order him to kill the horde and he'd have to obey.
if any alliance oficer orders tirion to help kill horde soldiers, tirion will refuse, because he's no longer a part of the alliance, he's still loyal in the way that he won't ever betray or bring harm to them, but he is neutral as far as it goes with their conflict with the horde, because if a horde oficer asks tirion to help kill alliance troops tirion will also refuse.
that is what I meant when I said he's no longer part of the alliance.
as for kadgar, he's pretty much become ad'al left hand, even if the game doesn't says it, he's pretty much part of the shattered sun, his only goal now is to unify the army of the light to fight burning legion, and frankie, as much as it hurts you, the horde is a part of that army.
so nope, kadgar can also refuse to obey any order given to him by an alliance officer, because he's no longer a part of the alliance, even when he's still loyal and friendly to them.
same goes for rhonin who while still friendly to the alliance, no longer follows the chain of command.
And as for the "All alliance heros are dead and hordes are loyal beyond count', I used to think that too... until I did some reaserch. The Horde seems to have it worse.
darkton, you need to stop pretending that "most=all" because is not. ok?
I said MOST, of the the heroes of the alliance are dead or no longer a part of the alliance, just as I never said that ALL of the heroes of the horde remain loyal, I said that most do.
again, just in case it's not clear "Most =/= all" capishe?
Rend Blackhand, Zul'jin, Kargath Bladefist, Cho'gall, Teron Gorefiend, Varimathras
we need to evaluate the definition of "hero" ok? hero=/= major character, allrite? because if that's the case, then kel'tuzad could be defined as a former hero of the alliance (back when he was human and part of dalaran) but we all know he never was a hero, even before pledging allegiance to the scourge he dabbled in the dark arts of necromancy.
Hero = someone who does something heroic, it usually consists mostly on saving someone, or a group of someone, or heck the entire world, it also consists on protecting something or somebody, to prevent harm ever coming in the first place.
now, Cho'gall? a nut-job from day 1, how can he be considered a hero of the horde? he was simply a crazy bastard, is not like the alliance didn't had any crazy bastards in their ranks (garithos rings a bell?)
Varimathras? another one who was never a hero in the first place, he was a horde officer, (though the term "Banshee-biach" would be more apropiate) he never saved anyone, or worked to protect anyone, from the moment sylvannas forced his hand he's been plotting against her, so no, he does't count as a hero of the horde who betrayed us all, (just as van-cleef doesn't count as a hero of the alliance that betrayed them, he was never a hero in the first place)
Zul'jin? cunning backstabing old fool, he joined out of convinience, and even then he did so only for his own sake, never did he actually bothered to move the agenda of the horde, all he cared was killing elves for cripling the troll empire, he was never a hero to begin with.
blackhand? please DON'T get me started on him, he wasn't a hero, never was never will be.
so nope, what I said in my post is that the figures within the alliance that are heroic, usually end up dead (like lothar or uther) , or betraying the alliance (like arthas, or abbendis) or leave the alliance (like rhonin or Tirion) though, most of the ones that leave still remain loyal and friendly, but no longer a part of the chain of command
on the horde however, name me an actual HERO of the horde that ended up leaving the horde........... (no, naming backstabbing bastards who never did any heroic action doens't count)
most of the heroes of the horde still remain alive these days (i said most, not ALL) and most of the heroes of the horde 20 years ago, still are loyal proud members of the horde under chain of command today (again, most not ALL)
((PD: most = / = all))

As far as I am aware, the Alliance doesn't quite have a 'Champion' like Rexxar. After all - The Alliance is not one government, it consists of 5 (soon to be 6). Each may have different champions.

Wasnt Varimathise a General for the Legion. Im still not strong on lore, but wasnt he? Something or someone 'pursuaded' him to join the ranks of Foresaken? I dont think a Dreadlord would willing join someone without having something in it.
Its one of his quotes when you click on him: 'How will this benefit me?'
Heros IMO are those that are a beacon of hope and influence. When they step foot on the battlefield, their very presence rallies the ranks. Some are known for their savagery, Grom Hellscream to the best of my knowledge. Some for their ability to lead, Staghelm in Silithus untill his sons death.
Zul'jin, though he doesnt push the Horde agenda much, is a hero to his ppl. He did what he had to as to insure the safety of his kind. I think makes him a hero.

My opinion of past heros: A past hero that is still known, dead or alive, is a Legend. Legendary figures are usually heros of the past whose greatness has not been forgotten, and their methods of combat, strat, ect are still in practice in some way shape or form.

Technically, anyone in the Alliance could be someone's hero.
Bill, the nameless cannon-fodder who was used as a human shield could be seen as a hero, Garithos the racist could be seen by some as a hero - People's perceptions of heroism are different.
