Pain Suppression
can it be dispelled with
Purge
,
Tranquilizing Shot
, and
Dispel Magic
?
I understand that a Disco Priest has a 95% chance to resist dispel effects, but its still possible for it to be dispelled?

Been there, done that. But you have to be really lucky, dont count on it in arenamatches. You'll be better of trying to switch target and nuke whilst the priest is trying to get his hp back up.

Pain Suppression is a magic effect.
Dispel, Purge, Spellsteal, Tranq. Shot can remove magic effects from their target.
Pain Suppression decreases the chances Dispel effects on you are succesful by 65%.
Silent Resolve decreases the chances Dispel effects on you are succesful by 30%.
30% + 65% = 95% ... 100% - 95% = 5%.
You have 5% chances to Dispel anything off someone who has Pain Suppression up.
Short answer: Yes, it is still possible to Dispel it.
Long answer: No. Don't waste your time trying to Dispel something you have virtually no chances of Dispelling, you'll be more efficient trying to damage through the Pain Suppression than if you try Dispeling it. Your best strategy against a PSed Priest is to CC him so he can't heal himself up, Cyclone obviously being the best, since it also prevents his teammate(s) from healing him, but a well-timed Psychic Scream will get the job done if he already used his trinket/racial. Let's assume 5% means you'll successfully Dispel a PS 1 out of 20 attempts (which isn't true, but for the sake of simplicity...), then, if PS is the only dispellable buff on your target, you'd have to cast 20 Dispels on average to Dispel it, generally using more time and mana than any other alternate strategy you can think of would.

30% of not having your shield/fortitude/renew dispelled. if you win versus a purgespamming team(anything with priest/shaman in it) this is probably what saved you, unless they were noobs ofc.
and leitinet, always nice with visitors :) imo anyhow

It's not
mandatory
, but I wouldn't do Arenas without it. In between...
Priest's
Dispel
Shaman's
Purge
Hunter's
Tranq. Shot
Mage's
Spellsteal
Warrior's
Shield Slam
Warlock's Felhunter's
Devour Magic
...you actually have to be lucky to enter an arena match against a team that has no way to dispel you whatsoever, so skipping on this talent isn't a good idea for anyone who is serious about Arenas.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure PS and Silent Resolve stack retroactively.
