Which is faster for PVP gear: emblems or honor?

I'm looking at getting into pvp-ing in battlegrounds and eventually arena (once i have some resilience) Should I spend my time farming BG's for honor and WG too or should I stick with my random heroics to get badges for gear? Mainly I'm looking for time invested vs. amount of X honor/emblems to put for gear.

emblems will only net you the set peices you are still gonna have to farm honor. if you are a tank or healer go for it emblem wise if not just grind honor imo

Do WG every time you can, VoA (10 and 25) every week, do the daily BG and any holiday BG's, and do the daily dungeon. Try to do your dungeons when you own WG so you can get Stone Keepers Shards which are tradeable for honor. Don't limit yourself to just one method unless you just don't like doing something.

Get set pieces from Emblems, WG off-set pieces from WG Emblems, then other off-set pieces from Honor and you should be all geared up from scratch in a couple of weeks. Obviously run daily random, daily BG and VoA as much as possible.

I Just saw the new change coming to BG honor gain. So after the new changes BGs will probably be the best. but i would still argue about starting in pve. or doing specific heroics like H ToC, and the ICC 5 man heroics would still be best just b/c of the weapon/trinket upgrades.
Still wish they would put equivalent BG pvp weapons as the Heroics. maybe something like u can only buy when u own 3/5 furious set or a specific gear score. similar to how they make u get some gear before u can enter H ToC and the ICC 5 man heroics.
i kinda like this idea. or have lower rating weapons like say be able to get relentless weapons at idk 1k bracket or something so people can still get some kinda weapons with out having to push.
before people start saying i dont wanna push i dont mind just talking about players who are just starting pvp.
