Why is it not possible to search for map sub-sections on Wowhead?

I'm doing the Explore Bloodmyst Isle (which is just a female member of canine species to complete), and I'm missing Talon Stand. So why can't I just look it up? It has always grated me, ever since the site launched, that this data is missing... Pretty much everything else is covered by now, and the site even has functionality that arguably isn't even needed by anyone (character profiles and whatnot...) Yet THIS is not present... Weird. :P
So I either run around the island randomly until I hit the stamp-sized part of the terrain I need to complete my Discover Kalimdor achievement (since I can't actually see any missing bits on the map, and I've discovered the two invisible reefs already), or I look up the achievement itself on wowhead and read through the (sometimes dozens) of often irrelevant or redundant comments until I find the information I need... It just isn't very efficient. :(

Because there is no way to gather this kind of information?

When I did this achievement I found the post that had the tomtom macros and used the heck out of those. I did this very quickly that way

Wildhorn is more or less correct. This is something I'd like to gather though, if we can find a way. Possibly based on the "Discovered" messages.

Ooh, I know. You could have an intern walk through all the zones in the world with an addon that records coordinates every time the sub-zone changes as they wiggle back and forth across sub-zone boundaries feeling them out like a blind person.

Yikes. Without being conceited, I'd like to believe that my time could be a bit better spent :).

I don't think that would work properly anyway.

The better question would be:
Why doesn't Blizzard label all these zones on their map?
Why doesn't Blizzard adjust the zones to better point out these areas that are unexplored on the map?
.
