))The Gilneans blamed the priestess, and killed her. It was terrible. The Worgen curse.... it is something I wish unto no-one. I had quickly taken to my steed and rode into the dusk. I rode for four days, before arriving in the Dwarven lands of Khaz'Modan. The Dwarves, seeing a Stormwind battlemage, welcomed me, but I knew that I would have to move on. I rested for a day, but moved on to Loch Modan. I battled to the blasted lands, only to see the mines of Uldaman. I saw it only as my personal duty to enter into the place and kill a few insane iron dwarves -- As their ways are as set in stone as the runes that cover their bodies -- nevertheless, I only got to a inner cavern, where another group of soldiers were already there. I decided not to steal their thunder, so i continued on.
Jeremy paused to dip his feather into the inkwell, before continuing to write,As for the battle at Saurko itself, I, well, saw Frederick. More, Sensed him, but I saw him also. Near a scourge war machine, I saw the tell-tale ginger hair, the oval face and the hard-looking nose. He was very different. His eyes, for one, glowed the trademark blue of a Death Knight. His voice, which I heard from a distance, was like a stone being dragged across a marble floor, slowly. He had sustained scars from his training, and a runeblade was loose in its sheath. A ghoul was hungrily devouring corpses at his feet. I realised that the Fred I knew was long gone. I one day, would end his suffering, but for now, I must put my feelings behind me.
I continued through the Blasted Lands, killing nothing so not to draw attention to myself. I reached Blackrock mountain, where I passed through with ease. Lakeshire was welcoming and peaceful. I moved on after one more day's rest and arrived in Stormwind within four hours. I was tired and weary, and made my way to my old home. One day on, I am about to leave to report my survival to the king.
Scourgelord William Morec clashed his blades with his old training partner, Deathmaster Tekfein. "Losing your...touch!"
He exclaimed. Jumping over the Deathmaster's head, he sent one of his two runeblades through the knight's body. "Goodness, you aren't even casting protection spells!""Thats what you think, old man."
Morec turned to see Tekfein at the top of a skull post. A runed knife was loose in his hand, ready to throw. William to turned again to the body, which shimmered and disappeared.
--"I wouldn't, Karl."
We were in the training room again, and I was beating Karl into submisson. "He-yaaaaaaaaaaaa!"
He leaped at me, but I just sighed and knocked him away with a Shadow Fist."Really? This is pathetic."
I turned to leave. I heard him behind me, swing his blade at my neck. "You really think i'm that STUPID? FOOL!"
I dug my runeblade into his stomach, leaving him to be devoured by Venom.
Lord Zasus Morgraine, leader of the Ebon Blade, stood beneath the training facility. "The time, is NOW!"
He echoed. "We strike, today, at these infernal, pathetic excuses for death knights! I sense three powerful forces in here though, so watch your step! But otherwise.... WIPE THE FLOOR WITH THEM!"
He yelled, finishing the speech and rallying his bone gryphon into the air. Behind him, he heard his Ebon Blade Soldiers mount. A single battle cry echoed through the air."FOR TIRION! FOR DARION! FOR THE VERDICT! AND MOST OF ALL, THE EBON BLADE!"
I looked down at the seemingly unknown numbers of Ebon Knights streaming below, and swore.
I drew Sacrifice
, and summoned Venom. And with that, I set through the dread citadel in search of Tekfein and Morec.
