I have tried just about everything.
The whole place seems to be surrounded by mountians.
Can anyone help?

From Hillsbrad Foothills follow the river up north was a way I thought, else you can go through Western Plaguelands and follow the mountainpath all the way south until you get in Hinterlands.

I'm right there in the Western Plaguelands now.
I'm blocked by a line of mountians.

I remember a very small path there, it's south of the isle with Scholomance I think.

yup easiest way is right behind durnhold keep, youll encounter 2 named griffons (they dont drop anything special) just follow that path and youll be there, theres also a path that leads into it from western plaguelands thats around the lake where scholomance is
