It doesnt autocast since it was changed.
It doesnt do what it did (reducing threat) and currently having in autocasting is totaly pointless.

It's still useful in raids. Especially if there's aoe damage or fire and you don't have chainspam.
Pets are 90% resistant for most aoe now. If there is unavoidable one you are suppose to micromanage your pet (/follow or Masters call), if it there is no healing it will hurt regardless of having cower on or off.
