Seriously though, the answers depend on many factors.
Was the mass posting of Thorium at 20g from someone powerleveling mining? Will the move on once they cleared out their bags and moved on to Fel Iron?
Was it someone who had a bank tab full of old-world stuff, and they decided to clear it all out?
Did someone decide to start farming it constantly to make gold? Will they keep doing it, or get bored in a week/once they buy epic flight?
Should you move on to another? That is entirely dependent on how much other ores are selling for, and your preferences.

Looking on wowecon.com, it seems as though the price has been steadily dropping for the past 90 days. So, I don't know if it will come back. It actually looks pretty unlikely.

Yes I noticed samething on my server (and it happened at right time, I decided to power lvl engineering for 4 of my alts at sametime :))
My guess is that many people read my guide and saw "Mine Thorium". So they all did it. >.>
What cost alot now is Mithril. On my server, mithril is about price of what thorium was.

It has been experienced by many ppl over last 1-2 months that farming thorium in Un'goro is much easier and faster now. It's hard to say why. Yesterday I was doing just that and at one time I noticed that a node respawned back in around 3 seconds after I picked it. Is that intentional (tweak by blizz) or a bug? I don't know. Went to AH to sell thorium afterwards and there were offers posted by multiple ppl for below 20g/stack (I'm on Winterhoof).
P.S. Mith is around 40g/stack here, btw. a modest increase from 30-35g two months ago. Ppl probably are trying to compensate for loss of profits on thorium, or something. Is it the next to go down like Thorium? hmmm

Hmm Bars price has dropped but the raw ore still sell at about 50g a stack. I belive that it has to do with the gems that are prospected from it. Thorium Bars sell for 15g a stack on my server. Fel Iron sell for alot now something around 80g for a stack of bars and 60g or so for the ore. Not sure about the other server that i'm on I'll have to look there also.

OMFG, yes you are right ChuckRox. I just checked ungoro map and the whole damn mountain ring is filled with thorium. That must be the reason.
