Where do i spend my frosties?

Another one of these threads, so sorry for that but if anyone has a spare moment to browse my toon and suggest an upgrade i'd greatly appreciate it.

- I have 116 frost emblems, and and will have 2 per day from the daily in addition to my weekly ICC raid.
- I raid as a holy priest (damn me gemming those Sp/Crit instead of SP/Haste gems! - will be rectified shortly)
- I just had these http://www.wowhead.com/?item=50769 off Toravon (10m), so i can quickly snap up the 2piece set bonus if thats a thing to consider.

The reason i'm conflicted is that there are lots of things i'd like to buy.

- new gloves (evidently the 264 ones are higher ilvl - but have crit on em and not haste like the 251 ones do...)
- 2piece set bonus, looks very good to me, especially as flash heal is my main source of healing

So what do you suggest? - currently i'm leaning towards Trink + Tier gloves, or Tier shoulders + 264 gloves.

P.S. I know i desperately need new bracers, gonan get me the 245 ones crafted after i save up some monies.

You don't give a link to your armory or your spec, so it's hard to tell if you need an upgrade more badly than another or what exactly you'd need the most... But basically, try to upgrade what needs upgrading the most. I just got the trinket yesterday after growing impatient, waiting on the Abascus, also after getting the cloak, (tier) shoulders and (non-tier) chest from emblems, while also getting ICC upgrades to head and gloves, so all I still need after getting the trinket is the belt (which I should have got first, for PvE's sake, but since I'll be running the trinket on my Arena set, I figured I'd kill two birds with a stone and get my Arena set up as soon as possible at the start of this new season.

Right... The trinket could be a good idea if you don't have better PvE trinket than the Battlemaster one you're using at the moment, but the +150SP is still decent if you don't need regen at all, so if you don't need the regen from the PLD (which isn't all that impressive, to be honest), don't worry about it for now. On the other hand, the T10 2 piece bonus is really weak, or at least it was for me when I gave it a try, the HoT effect only giving me an additional 2% effective healing, something I can really do without. But hey, test for yourself, you can buy them, try them for 2 hours and turn them back in, just make sure you don't enchant them... So as far as gloves are concerned, unless you plan on getting 4 pieces of T10, I think you'd be better off with the 264 Gloves, which is probably what I would get next, then, I'd start saving for the 264 Chest (then again, unless you plan on getting your full T10 set), and then, I'd get the trinket.

So, basically, for regen, I'd get a better trinket, although there are others that you can get without spending 60 Emblems of Frost, try doing TotC 25 this week for the Solace... (Or get Sliver of Pure Ice or Althor's Abascus from ICC 10 or 25)

If you don't need regen, I'd get the 264 Gloves, then the 264 Chest, then the PLD if you still haven't had any luck in finding an upgrade to your Battlemaster trinket.

I'm to lazy right now to look you up on the armory, but I'd suggest grabbing 2 pieces of tier gear first; that 2p bonus is very nice. As far as a trinket goes you could get one eventually, but the Sliver of Pure Ice is a fairly common drop, and there are the other ones Panik8 mentioned.

The 2/5 set bonus is near useless. In the most ideal case it *could* raise your flash heal by 10%. But flash heal spam on the tank resets the HOT timer and while healing the raid the HOT goes to waste. Check your logs for the discrepancy between prayer of healing and its glyph. 2/5 T10 is just as poor.

But you do want 4/5 T10 in a while, so buy them pieces.

Thanks for the replies so far. Quick question tho.

I've seen a few posts saying even for holy spirit isnt worth gemming for, is this because you get enough spirit from other bits of gear? or is it that spirit is an "undesireable" stat to have?

Asking because http://www.wowhead.com/?item=50983 vs http://www.wowhead.com/?item=50984, same debate with the chest.
