Well, if you want to win, don't try when your friend hits 80 right away. Both of you should probably put together a set of the honor bought pvp epics before entering arena with the intent to seriously play. On the other hand, playing 10 arena matches a week will net you some free arena points which can be used with honor to buy ur set pcs faster. Use welfare arena points + BGs and WG etc to get geared for arena.
