What class to solo TBC heroics and vanilla raids?

I was thinking about rolling an alt to just have fun doing the stuff I wasnt able to do because I started playing too late. I tried soloing MC and AQ on my DK who is decently geared. 5K gearscore in full triumph loot with some ToC and ICC gear and I couldnt even beat the first boss in MC and the trash in AQ 20 killed me so obviously I was trying it with the wrong class. I was thinking about rolling a druid. Once I get a bear geared out in full item level 245+ gear can they solo oldschool stuff?

If you can't solo MC whit your DK, I doubt you can solo it with any class.
Keep trying whit DK.

Warrior with tank gear, a fairly standard tank build, and a bloodthirst tank build.
Druid with a KotJ+BI tank build and tank gear.
Paladin with tank gear and a standard tank build.
Death Knight with tank gear, a 2 Hand FrostTap build, DW FrostTap build, or a BloodTap build.

I run AQ20, half of AQ40, ZG, Kara, most of MC, and any OL heroics I'm in the mood for solo on the druid each reset. Most can be done with what I mentioned above, a select few will require a little extra boost such as The Prophet Skeram, I use 60-78 AH nature resist greens in half my gear on him.

Trash will be your biggest problem in AQ20/40 and probably Kara, as a DK I would use one of the above FrostTap builds, preferably the 2H one, for those.

You need to read the tactics, adapt to it in a way that works for you for raids, if you don't, most will be impossible.
Some Warlock did whole of MC solo, and he even did C'Thun phase1 solo (You instantly die in phase 2 if you'r alone).
How did he do it? He knew the tactics, he adapted to it, he spend craploads of money on the right speccs/gear/gems.

For what class, a Prot paladin or Ret Paladin would make it easier, Feral/balance druid could work with really good gear or you can roll a lock and try search the warlock who did them all, I watched his video's on Warcraftmovies and he explains them very well.
