Hello guys!
I need some help with chosing the "right" trinkets.
I recently got
Sliver of Pure Ice
from ICC10, whereas I need to replace one of my other two.
It stands between
Ephemeral Snowflake
and
Binding Stone
.
I didn't really feel comfortable with replacing either of them, but ended up replacing
Binding Stone
after it looked like I lost mana even quicker without my
Snowflake
.
What would grant me more mana in return overall as a Druid? It seems like the Snowflake grants me more than the Stone, but I am not 100% sure.
Your opinoin would be very much apprechiated. :)
Thanks.

I was leaning towards the binding stone as well, but I was thinking about the on-use with the snowflake. Are you already at the 1 second gcd with haste and it's kind of going to waste?

Snowflake is close to the best regen trinket in the game. I think Spark of Hope is the only one that's better, but there might be a couple others.
However, I don't like the idea of running without any SP trinkets at all. The Sliver is a decent combination piece; it's got good SP and a decent regen on-use. Personally, I'd rather have Solace, cause it's only a bit less SP with better regen, but paired with Snowflake the Sliver's probably better, since it has higher SP.

Thank you.
Actually I don't have a lot of haste. I got 400 haste rating now, but going to replace a few pieces with haste when I get enough badges. :)
Speaking of haste, how much should I aim for?
Thanks again for the replies. I will go for the Snowflake. :)

Binding Stone is one of the worst trinkets in the game. It is complete crap and should be vendored by almost everyone. Most ilvl 200 trinkets are superior.
You made the right decision by getting rid of it.
Your main healing spells should be Rejuvenation and Wild Growth. Both get nothing out of crit so you want to get items with haste+spirit on them if possible. Just get as much of those as you can and ignore all crit pieces unless the spellpower gain is higher than the haste loss.

As u aren't hit capped at the mo (856 or 735 if u have CF) ....
He means Haste capped.
And with 4t9, Rejuv will crit, but it's still not really worth getting Crit pieces for.

Ah, thanks a lot guys! I will try getting to the 735 benchmark as I got CF newly specced. :)
When I heal in ICC I usually just put a Regrowth and Rejuv up on the tank(s) before/as they pull, and Wild Growth as necessary. I also like using Nourish, but only in half-bad situations where I know Rejuv/WG wont cut it. :)
I got the 4t9 set bonus, so I am really not looking forward to losing the Rejuv crit... but I guess I will have to do that sooner or later.. :(
Thanks a bunch for your help. I have gotten my answer, and I will look up the Spark of Hope.

I think the current thinking is that it's not worth switching over to t10 until you can actually get 4t10.
