Probably just giving you errors because it was designed for mana-users, not DKs. Until it gets fixed, I'd recommend using Grid (combined with Clique if you actually used the click-to-cast function of HB).

You can disable plugins on a per-character basis in the plugin screen. Just switch to per-character mode and untick healbot; I doubt it has any features you really have use for as a deskknight anyway so it's not as if you're losing anything... ;)

Grid
is simply a raid monitor, imho you would be better better off using it if that is all you want to use it for. I am pretty sure the red border to indicate aggro is configured by default.
Grid doesn't heal, buff, cleanse etc; it is designed for all classes, no fluff to go wrong.
Otherwise, if you still want to use HealBot for a DK without errors, you should report the error to the author.
