i went with Supremacy. Mainly because during a boss fight you want to hit as hard as possible when you use cooldowns/trinkets, especially during a lust/heroism where you already are hitting fast enough. The Shard is more of a caster trinket because they don't have the added auto attack that we do to make the extra ~1k atkpwr benefit from.

Triumphs are easy enough to farm, get em both! I have them both..at least until I hit 60 frost for the herkuml (should be this Fri). The only thing I hate about having both is they are on-use, so you have to actually 1) work them into your rotation, 2) remember to use them, 3) worry about when to not use them to save it for the boss fights. Supremacy is a tad better as per Shadowpanther, but it really does depend on your spec/gear. If I had to get one, it would be supremacy since the AP helps on FoK too (FoK is the lamest AoE in the game, so any little bit helps).
If you do consider getting both, you should know you can't use them at the same time. Hitting one puts the other on a 20-second cooldown, so you can go back-to-back with them, but not get them both simultaneously.
