Leatherworking Worth Leveling?

Right now my Druid is a hair away from 67, and he'll be headed to Northrend right when he hits 68. His Skinning skill has leveled nicely and is already at 375, but my Leatherworking has been lacking greatly for a long time as is only at 185. I'd really like to get it to 375 before heading to Northrend, though, but I'm wondering if it's worth the investment.
I know it'll vary from server to server, but what would you expect 'power-leveling' LW from 185 to 375 to cost?
Is LW worth it for a Druid?

Mkay, I think I'm going to stick with LW. I have about a ~3k gold budget, do you think I could grind it to 375 from 185 within that budget?

If you gather the leather yourself, you will do fine. Even if you buy from AH, 3k is more than plenty (and you only need 350 to get wotlk pattern).

I doubt anyone really cares, but just reporting back here that I finished the grind to 375 and wound up spending ~1.5k gold, give or take a few hundred gold.

Leatherworking actually has quite decent usefulness these days, even endgame. You get a good enchant for bracers, you get enchants for legs that sell for good money (and cheap to do on your own legs), there's the new mark of the wild and kings blessing drums of course that will also net you good money, and plenty availability of ilvl 245 chest and bracer patterns on the auction house that's great for a whole bunch of classes.
It's not a bad profession IMO. :)
