How do you use your Naga?
Return to board index
I just got my Razer Naga and was wondering how everyone else used theirs. I have mine set to use the numpad buttons, but I am having issues with deciding what to use them for exactly.
I play a Warlock, so:
Bar 1: General Damage
Bar 2: Misc/AoE
Bar 3: Buffs as well as Health/Soul stone management
Bar 4: Curses
I use the front 6 buttons (front meaning furthest forwards), 1-6 numpad (mine is also set to be numpad buttons), for instant spells, almost all with shift/alt modifier macros. This feels nice to me as you retain 100% movement in any direction at all while casting instants (i used to have instants on Q and E, but after I got my Naga it occurred to me that it was easier to cast those instants while straffing in a particular direction, and that i was habitulally doing that without realising it. in PvP this is).
I use Q E R F C X for casted things now because i figure if i have to stand still to cast it doesn't matter that a finger left WASD momentarily.
The back 6 buttons I use for miscellaneous things, including opening Opie rings and mounting.
I use the Naga in pretty much the same way for my Moonkin, demo warlock and frost mage.
