Hmm, try a better chair and work on your posture, if that doesnt work go see a doctor, normally you dont get back pain from not moving your arm. The more normal thing would be Carpal Tunnel syndrome so get this back issue checked out.

A proper chair, desk, keyboard and mouse setup will solve all of your problems.
I used to get bad back/shoulder cramps, until I realized that my GF didn't like my chair down-low, so she jacked it up (causing me to have to lean over my desk and cramp up my arms). I didn't even notice until she suggested it might help for me to readjust the seat when I sit in it.

Aside from maybe a new chair and definitely working on a better posture while gaming, also get up and move around regularly. There are exercises you can do as well, just google "ergonomics". By all means, do see a doctor though! Stabbing pains is not healthy...

I've never had any problems with back pain, but I have a great desk chair. My problem has always been wrists! A few weeks ago I bought the Microsoft Ergenomic (or however its spelled) keyboard, and I can say it's made it easier for me to play. the way it is shaped makes hitting keybindings easier and the padds at the bottom are sooo much more comfortable than my laptop's plastic shell!

I also sit on a pillow. I find it helps mah tailbonez. Also, when you go to bed, do this exercise where you bend your knees and push one leg to the side - two times, one for each leg (push the left leg by the knee to the right until it hits the bed, same for the right leg to the left side). Essentially it's stretching your spine and back muscles...it will crack and feel very relieved.
