Mik scrolling battle text This will show power gains (energy/mana/rage ect) Cooldowns and procs as well as incoming and outgoing damage/healing.
FortExorcist will also show a long list of cooldowns and flash up the icon when they come off cooldown. Takes a little bit to configure it but after that it's hard to beat.

Power Auras has been working great for me recently. I have several alerts set up, but the following have been the most effective:
The first two also display countdown timers so I know when the buff expires.
I have spell icons that display when I can cast
Rune Strike or
Howling Blast, but I've not yet found a configuration for them that draws enough attention.

I love Buttontimers for my warlock, because it allows me to have fixed positions for each timer bar.
Example:
http://ugidelig.com/screen/buttontimers/6.jpg shows my 5 affliction main spells sorted after priority.
Most timer bars sort after how much duration is left, which means that the bars change places as you refresh spells. It also means that if one time bar has run out, you have to read which are left and figure out what spell is missing.
Buttontimers keeps fixed positions for the timer bars, sorted the way you prefer.
As an affliction lock, Haunt is my main priority, Agony is second, Corruption is third, UA is fourth and if all 4 are running it's time to spam Shadow Bolt. I've sorted my spells in Buttontimers to reflect that with Haunt at the top and Shadowbolt at the bottom.
My main task during a fight is to look at Buttontimer and make sure all 4 bars are running. In the picture above Haunt and UA has both run out. The buttons for Haunt and UA are still there even if their bars have run out. I know that Haunt is more important than UA because it's higher, so first I recast Haunt and after that I get UA running again. Once all 4 bars are running I'm down to my fifth option which is spamming Shadowbolts.
No more worrying about spell rotations and stuff like that, just make sure to keep all 4 bars running and spam Shadowbolts when you have nothing better to do, that's pretty straight forward..

Recently got the same need... after several tests, I kept
SexyCooldown. Somehow, I couldn't make Power Auras work.
IMHO, visually, is easier to see in a timeline both which buffs-debuffs-CDs you have, and when will they finish.
Give it a try.
