title says it all; well, the question anyway.
i got one done this saturday
Go on tundra trek.
the seniors, (thats us, 12th graders) study polar explorers in brit lit and to go along with it, our engrish teacher does this "tundra trek" thing. basically its a 6mile walk from one town to another, at 8am on a saturday. and to be sure that its in the "polar" spirit, he picks the coldest average saturday in january for this. every year since i was in highschool I've been trying to get to this, and finally, i did.
so, anyone knock out a resolution yet?

Do some better at school..
I'm paying attention to the teacher.
Don't start smoking.
I'm not 16 'till December. Problem solved.
Watch what I do when my GF is near.
Yeah, I usually 'fight' abit with friends, most of the time they're girls. Soo, yeah I watch who I touch. Do not dare think about the touching ._.
Get back to WoW in Summer Vacation.
We'll see. We'll see.

It's not much of a resolution if it can be done in the first three weeks of January, is it? More like a 'to-do list'?
A NY resolution should be something more than just "Do the laundry" or "take the dog for a walk". Perhaps "keep up to date with the laundry" or "take the dog for a walk three times a week", meaning that it's a consistent, ongoing thing, a change to your life. This also means that you can't say you've achieved it until next year, looking back.
Doing better at school won't be seen until grades come out. Not smoking won't be seen until the end of the year (or life, for that matter, and since when did legality ever come into it?).
I can say that my NY resolution is to exercise more. That doesn't mean that I can say "Whew, two hours in the gym last week, awesome, my resolution is done!", spending time in the gym just means that it's on track. I'll have to continue to change my life to allow me to exercise more regularly and on an ongoing basis before I can say it's complete, not just a one-off.

I haven't made a resolution in forever, but I've been wanting to take up some sort of programming, and so far, I'm getting a good start on that.
