Hituro, also keep in mind the 8% hit rating removes the chance of your special attacks missing (yellow attacks). Your auto-attacks (white damage) will still miss bosses and would need much more hit rating to reduce the chance to 0%. I cant remember the actual number to remove all misses from white attacks, but its pretty inconsequential considering how little gain it would give you.

No, the miss rate for non-dual wielding physical and special attacks is 8% on raid bosses. Spell miss is 17% and the dual wield miss is 28%. She's already answered her own question.
