In PvP, Mace spec was always VIABLE, although still not quite as strong as Axe. Sword was the joke.
I hope you dont mean TBC.
In TBC Sword or Mace spec where THE pvp Specs.
I dont remember anyone using Axe spec for pve, everyone did Sword.
so basically Axe spec will always do more raw damage overall than Mace spec?
(im assuming there has to be a time at which mace spec will be better if anyone could explain this to me i would be extraordinarily grateful)
Depends how far you are with ArP. The better your ArP the more dps comes from additional ArP.
