Depends on what you hit 80; but while leveling and finishing off Outlands, I was getting 200-300g per day from the quests there.

If you're a tank, enter a city and advertise with "Selling instant queu's, XXg".
to clarifie: tanks get instant queue's, dps don't. If you plan to do hc's anyways, adv in /2 that you are can take payements (usually 30-50g) from dps to take them with you for insta-queue's

normally dailies are trivial and earn fast and safe gold, plus you tend you get quicker when you repeat a task.
instance farming isnt a very safe method of earning gold, as bad groups can waste a lot of money and time.
farming lower level instances as a suitable class (read: paladin) can yield acceptable profit if thats your thing, but the main reason people do this is to see something other than northrend.
you can also go and farm old world materials (thorium) if you have the matching profession, and sell them for a fortune as next to noone is supplying the market.
about outland quests, i think they are worth it. might not be the maximum money per time unit, but they are fun, involve squishy lower levels and are generally more involving than farming fire motes.
