I agree with aazaroth's except the 2nd one, clearly he just doesnt like RPers ;p I dont do it but have no problem with people who enjoy doing it. What annoys me is usually the immature acting people of all ages, the immature adults get to me WAAAAAAY more than the immature young ones because they are just kids having fun in a video game. Yeah theres exceptions but most of the younger people I come across are just usually annoying to talk to from a adults perspective (unless of course they act mature) and mean no harm.

People who leave during a DotA game in WC3.
Fixed. xD
1. Elitist jerks that think their better than you because they have better gears and want 2500 gearscore for uld 10.
This, honestly.
Also:
People with high expectations that don't really know their class mechanics.
People who insult other people for little reason.
People who call out other players for sucking without researching what exactly might be wrong with their gameplay...
Roughly 75% of the people on the Rexxar server.

I was just a little n00b, myself. I was only about level 40, though I had a baby Horde alt on another server at the time, too:
A guildie is sitting on the Great Forge waiting for me to arrive so I can craft some items for him. A L10 Human guy is running around seeming lost. Guildie is about to ask if he needs help, when I - a female Dranny - arrive at the forge.
Before I can greet my guildie, the L10 comes up and asks me for help; he can't find The Gates of Ironforge. He's L10, not Dwarf/Gnome, it's a little silly but yeah he may be lost. I tell him how to bring up the map and tell him the compass direction and he's like "I still can't figure it out, I feel so stupid". Since it will take no time, I just escort him...talking to my guild this whole time.
I get him there, he thanks me...then talks about how sexy certain female races are,
especially
Draenei...and talking about his L80 horde toons. My mental response to this and all the sexy female talk is "whatever", but I politely wish him luck, say farewell, and move to return to the forge.
"Wait, may I friend you? I'm new to this server, and only played Horde. If I meet nice players here, I'll stick around." I don't want to talk to this guy ever again, so I say "No, thank you, but I'd prefer you didn't. I'm really just here to play with some close friends from outside the game and prefer to devote my attention to that. Best of luck to you, I hope you enjoy Gorefiend!" As a very shy newbie none of that was even untrue.
The guy flips out. Tells me I don't have to be so uptight and he just wants to meet nice people on a new server, and it would be my fault if he doesn't stay because I'm mean. Seriously? If you don't friend me I'll
kill my toon
? LoL
Again, being shy and
really
preferring to keep to myself at this point in my playing, patience with this conversation ends there. I should have given some smartass lie about being a dude, but irritated at now attempting twice to end the conversation politely...I just laid it all out for him in a few tells:
So let me get this straight, jackass. You have all these Horde 80s yet can't find the gigantic MAIN GATE of Ironforge - did you level to 80 entirely in Orgrimmar unable to escape? You're either a liar or a complete *!@#ing idiot. 10 minutes wandering around with many males who could help you, and you pounce on the first female Draenei you see, whom you proceed to tell all about how incredibly sexy they are, and then threaten to commit WoW suicide if she won't friend you. OH NOES! Sorry, I won't be your e-girlfriend to keep you from committing WoW suicide, loser. Go find a cyb0r partner elsewhere...perhaps some dude who needs one as much as you clearly do.
And blocked him.
In moments his level 1 alt is talking about how mean and uptight I am, only now he's calling me a #$%^& and other choice terms for a "mean" female. I should have reported him...but after the messages I'd just sent him, I'd probably get banned, too, so I settled for laughing my ass off and blocking him again.
On the bright side, once my hands stopped shaking and heart stopped racing...this whole thing did help my level of confidence around other players...I guess the sad little idiot did me a favor.

People who cant pull their own weight in a raid.
This^
That's an excuse to be rude to somebody?
An excuse to cut them from the raid, maybe, but not to be an a--hole about it.

If people are rude to me and they were unprovoked/provoked by something very minor ("Telling them how to play" because after I'd already ask if anyone needed info on the boss fight, then they wipe us, and instead of being rude I tell them the fight), then I am rude. Though usually instead of cursing at them (Unless it's an alliance on a toon to talk to me) I'll tell the story in general/trade/raid/party and make him look like a total idiot.

People who dont know when im trying to offer good advice.
Example:
Bumming around in S.p on daily run, i was in LFG. Someone was spamming the following:
'lf tank gladran zf last spot'
He wasnt being over the top with the spams but i am sure you can see the glaring error. Now, as he had been asking for over 20 mins i figured noone was paying attention.
I suggested in lfg that he called the instance 'gundrak'. He would probably be taken more seriously if he called the place by the correct name. Not knowing the name does not look good for your potential on boss tactics etc....
As soon as i typed this several other people proceeded to agree in lfg. I know it was a bit blunt but hey, im pointing out the harsh truth, gotta be cruel to be kind and i didnt flame him, i put in smileys etc to try to make it a bit nicer.
What proceeds is several minutes of abusive posts and acusations about my gender and other such nonsense. To be honest, i was so amused with this idiot i had a go back and he shut up when i said something particularly nasty but for gods sake, i was trying to help you man.
To make it even more silly, after 3 / 4 mins of silence he posts...
'lf tank gundrak zf last spot'.
I lol'd

I know I am elitist, but... Repeated fails on easy content. If people simply show unwillingness / unability to understand what we tell them... @#$%es me OFF.
