well, it seems the moment I was waiting for has come, I did said in several threads that after the wrathgate the forsaken had undergone a slight change, and that the only reason we hadn't seen that change was becuse for now no new lore was added.
that has changed now.
I just had a fun trip to the PTR; to test the new upcoming patch 3.3 and guess what I saw?
first off, after the wrathgate the forsaken ARE NOT DEVELOPING MORE BLIGHT, AND WON'T DEVELOP MORE BLIGHT AT ALL EVER AGAIN.
first off, after wrathgate, Thrall decided that the forsaken had to be under constant observation to prevent stuff like the wrathgate from happening again, and so, he sent not 1 but 2 overlords of the kor'kron guard to the undercity.
the first one stands rite next to sylvannas, and replaces varimathras after the wrathgate is over (if u had still not completed varimathra's quests and u did the wrathgate, u had no way to do these quests , but not anymore, now, after wrathgate, varimathras is phased out and this new overlord of the kor'krom takes his place, both to keep sylvannas under surveilance and to give and recieve varimathra's quests)
the second overlord stands at the very laboratory of the apothecaries, to supervise everything they do and say and think.
Litteraly they don't move a finger without this guy's aproval.
and last but not least, the abominations were the constructs of the apothecaries, and thus could not be trusted to secure the undercity, so they have been replaced by thrall's personal elite guard unite, the kor'kron.
every single abomination was replaced by kor'kron overseers, and by the dialogs they issue when u read their lines, it seems they are there to keep a tight grip on the forsaken.
if you ask about directions to the warlock trainer their response is a hillarious one :P but if u ask about the alchemist trainer (alchemy=apothecary) their response is very seriuos
"don't even thing about making more of that plage non-sence or you WILL find my axe in places you don't want to see it"
all in all, as I knew it would happen, the wrathgate was the begining of a chain of events that will someday lead to the final redemption of the forsaken.
heed my words brothers :) this is just the first step, I could bet all my stuff that from here to cataclysm more and more changes will follow this one.
just as the blood-elves have redeemed themselves, so will the forsaken too.
(now, a sugestion I'd give to blizz about this change is that they add them only to people who have done the wrathgate, because as it stands now on the PTR; u see the kor'krom guard, and all the changes I stated, even if u haven't done the quest, is kinda funny to see the undercity under orc guard, saying stuff like "we will never let the wrathgate happen again" even when u haven't completed the quest, and then u complete it and woops there it is xD it happened again.
a proper method would be to have the same old undercity as before if you haven't done the quest, and after the quest, all the changes stated are phased in. )

what "plage stuff"?
on icecrown there is no forsaken blight

Do this quest, ally or Horde.
Those are plague cauldrons.......
Hmm, I have a bad feeling about the assault on Icecrown.

but dude, those plage cauldrons are not from the forsaken, those are common scourge plage, and the reason the alliance and horde have that quest is because the ebon knights know how to make that scourge plage do an adverse reaction, causing all sort of chaos among the enemy ranks.
also to add a few more toughts about this,
it seems thrall doesn't distrusts sylvannas, but rahter the RAS; and some of the forsaken civilians, why do I speculate this? because the constructs of the RAS were replaced by orc guards ,but the royal guard of sylvannas is still forsaken, if thrall alowed her to keep her personal guard, that is a token of faith, to some degree.
also, after cheking out the northrend bases, nope they still contain the blight barrels, however, in those places players do the related quests taht advance the plot, wheter the plage barrels are phased out after you finish the quests is something I can't say for sure, my premade toon doesn't have any quests done at all.
and finnaly here are some screenshots to prove just how serious is thrall to NEVER let the wrathgate happen again:

I'll camp arround these new NPC's and see what else they say, :P I did saw this new overseer telling a forsaken apotecary to shut his rotten F%&$ing trap up, but for the love of god I can't find the screenshot, tomorrow I'll camp arround and see if I see it again.
overall, I think this is just the beggining. and future changes are in the horizon for the forsaken.

I still think the Blight is going to be used against us at Icecrown, because the RAS screwed up big time there; they didn't finish the Lich King when they had the chance, they let him escape.
As for the rest; I hate Sylvanas, I truly do. I've hated her for a long time, since WC3, never understood this bizarre love for her. I don't trust her as far as we can throw her; sure the Warchief is finally watching her..... but I can still see her trying again and again to take down the Lich King and the living with her poison; the Blight is out there, there's no putting the stopper back on the vial.

Hmm, maybe they are still producing Blight - Just under Orc control?

Why would Thrall allow that? ._. Unless he's succumbed to all the pressure from the Alliance, the outlands and now the god damn Lich King? It would be kinda cool to see him go bonkers.

Hehe, he could think that the Blight - If used at the right time in the right place* - Could be the Scourge's bane.
*Probably when there aren't any Alliance or Horde present.

Queue the "Malfurion + wisps = splosion!" analogy.

Queue the "Malfurion + wisps = splosion!" analogy.Well, Thrall is supposed to be hanging out with Malfurion at the World Tree...maybe it's an Explosion Addicts Anonymous support group.
....But Ragnoras looks so flammable.
