Haha, it's mainly my main (pun much?) since i've had her since the european release of wow.
It's my little sweetheart in other words.
Though i'm very much more interested in the paladin class and actually abondened my rogue for a years time to reroll a paladin. Also while i've only leveled one rogue past level 20. I've leveled 3 paladins to 80 and a forth one coming in at 75 atm.

... if you're someones too lazy to manually do all 5 abilities and want to use a macro...
Is kind of out of place in a thread dedicated to "helpful macros for paladins", don't you think?
Well that's the truth of it. Having all 5 buttons gives you much more control than a macro. I could never use a macro for my 969 (even the ones I suggested) because I'd just feel handicapped. With all 5 buttons, I can start on whatever part of the rotation I want, I can substitute in other abilities w/o messing up my rotation.
Just my 2 cents.

I reread the two 969 macros you posted. I found that, after some hours /played, that combining three 9s spells in one macro made me miss one of them more often than not, since it wasn't showing. That is why i moved judgements to a separate macro, to always have every option on the next gcd.
That shouldn't be a problem with reset=5, but I haven't tried the macro so I could be wrong.

For the author of a page called "Helpful Macros for Paladins" you seems to have alot of macro hate/misunderstanding.
A prper macro has more flexibility and freedom than 5 buttons with separate skills attached. It depends wholly on the intelligence/cleverness of the macro coder to make that happen and is not a fault of the macro system. The only limitation is the user, and 255 characters, where most are remedied through use of the /click command (macro extenders are crap).

Hate? What are you smoking?
The point of a guide is to help people who don't know much about the subject. By all means make whatever rotation macro you want. I could give about 20 different 969 macro setups, but I'm not going to; that defeats the purpose. Instead I suggested the two simplest set-ups.
But no, I stand by my claim that /castsequence macros are less flexible than manually pressing the abilities.
And if you have a gripe with a macro, just say so; if you have one to add, just say so. Telling me
that
a macro is more flexible doesn't do much; giving me a macro that
is
, however does.

I'm going to have to agree with hyperspace here, there's nothing helpful about having 58 different macros for the same situation.
Listing the simplest ones and those that are more generally helpful is better than having a ton of different macros for the same situations.
Call this a guide or not if you like, but i see it as a guide to macros.
So basically this is for people who are not that familiar with macros, or to those who are but are looking for inspiration.
In both cases the information should be user-friendly and readily accessible.
If the author of the guide doesn't agree with a macro you wish to be posted. Try to get attention to your macro, if enough people like it and find it useful, the author will practically be forced to adding it since it is helpful to a larger extent than just yourself.

Anyone got a macro for me please that will cast judgement on the target of my focus?
I usually focus my tank and then spam heals on the raid/tank as necessary. But I really hate having to deselect my tank to judge the boss/mob.

#showtooltip
/cast Judgement of ...
That should be it if i'm not mistaken.
And if they havn't fixed it you'll have to add...
/targetlasttarget
...at the end since casting the judgement will proc effects on the mob thus automatically making you target it.

Thank you!
That is awesome :) - I'll try it with and without the /targetlasttarget and tell you what happens tonight after work.

Hello all, been reading all the helpful macros and was trying to get this to work.
#showtooltip
/cast Righteous Defense
/cast Hand of Reckoning
So when a DPS'er pulls aggro uses RD but other wise uses HoR.
As far as I know, that'll just cast both at the same time. You'd just be wasting a taunt.

What exactly are you trying to do? Essentially both taunts do the same thing, so casting either one will work (although the extra damage from HoR makes if better for most cases).
