The Lady of Theramore is one of the most respected leaders in the world, and with good reason. She’s one of the
strongest diplomats, as well as a powerful mage. She seeks to maintain and strengthen the existing relationships
between the Alliance races, and also end the hostilities with the Horde, so targets like the Scourge and the
Burning Legion can be destroyed once and for all. Also on her agenda is finding King Varian of Stormwind, since
he was on his way to visit her when he disappeared.
Although she hasn’t shown it much, Jaina is deeply hurt by the death of her father, and she blames herself
for being incapable of stopping it. Likewise, she feels she should have been able to stop Arthas’ descent into
madness; and when the time comes, she hopes to put an end to the Lich King — and her nightmares — with
her own power. She has sacrificed nearly everything for her people.
Regardless, she proves she has the strength to keep fighting, and she will likely play a major role in the war as
it continues to evolve. From the Alliance Player guide, so a few years out of date... but it does show her core.

Most of the aggression from the Alliance’s side started with the followers of Admiral Daelin Proudmoore, and some of them are still around on the coast of Kalimdor. More importantly, however, Daelin’s entire nation is still out there — we haven’t heard much from Kul Tiras these days, but Proudmoore’s son is in charge there. The Horde needs to be ready for another possible assault if Kul Tiras decides to bring its ships to bear, but it would be more logical to start making negotiations for peace with them now. Like Gilneas — though I am loath to make the comparison — Kul Tiras has always functioned somewhat independently from the rest of the Alliance. It would be wise to get Jaina to take a boat out there with Thrall — or teleport, or something — and get a treaty signed. It would be a first step toward peace, and I suspect Jaina could convince her little brother to do it if the Horde is willing to take the risk. It’s something to consider.
Wonder if they'll ever expand on this heh. It is something to consider after all.

So most of the Kul Tiras nation is out in Kalimdor, just hanging around?
The quote said 'some', not 'most'.

So most of the Kul Tiras nation is out in Kalimdor, just hanging around? No, Brann means that Daelin's forces were only a part of his nation. Thrall should make a treaty with the nation, so that a bigger attack doesn't happen in the future.

I must say, I would like to see Jaina's brother and half-sister's views on her actions in Theramore, or their attitudes towards her. It may give some indication to the mentality of Kul Tiras.

Heh, the half-sister isn't exactly 'cannon' but she's suppose to be in Lordaeron/Plaguelands fighting against the Scourge there. But yeah, I would like to see more with her brother, and if he misses her or not, or if he feels as his father did.

(As in, for the most part, race has entirely determined status as Horde or Alliance. I'd like to see that tradition broken).
Of course, it's not likely with Garrosh at the helm... >.>

Yeah, but I personally think the idea would stir things up a little.

So... you want to see Kul Tiras and Theramore join the Horde? Yeah, thats never going to happen. Kul Tiras hates them so bad that they kept on fighting even after Daelin died. And as for Theramore, also not ever happening. Its simply thier territory.
Garrosh changes nothing, theres no way you are ever going to see anything like this happen.Well, it seems realistic to me. Maybe not actually as a part of the Horde itself, but I could certainly see Theramore allying with the Horde. And just as Brann said, it seesm reasonable that Jaina could convince her little brother to come to her side as well.
Besides, the Blood Elves "hated the Horde" too.

As did the 'Forsaken' In the Second War. :P
I could
really
see Theramore declaring neutrality, but
not
allegiance to the Horde. Jaina would heavily risk a coup in this situation.

Depends on how the Alliance and the Horde are both behaving. If, say, Stormwind were to challenge Theramore's claims of neutrality and statehood and Thrall was still at the helm of his Horde, I could see Jaina going to Thrall for help.
And from what I've read of the RPG books, Jaina is really popular in Theramore with everyone but the deserters, and the deserters have been discredited, cast out, and hunted down.

No, Daelin and his forces hated the Orcs(the Orcs, not the Tauren and Trolls) and they forced the battles not the Horde. We don't know how the youngest son feels; until that point, its too early to say 'the entire nation of Kul Tiras hates the new Horde!" But, if he's anything like Jaina, and we don't know as he wasn't mention much, he could join with her over the Alliance and go Neutral.

If, say, Stormwind were to challenge Theramore's claims of neutrality and statehood and Thrall was still at the helm of his Horde, I could see Jaina going to Thrall for help.As a member of the Kirin Tor (I am sure that she is) - Dalaran would heavily support her, along with other neutral organisations.
And from what I've read of the RPG books, Jaina is really popular in Theramore with everyone but the deserters, and the deserters have been discredited, cast out, and hunted down.
That popularity can easily shift depending on the circumstances. If she decided to side with the Horde over the Alliance, I am sure her support would diminish among her people.

I'm just saying, I think it is possible, given the right conditions. I am also saying that I would like it, if it happened.
Think of the Revolutionary War. The Americans were British Citizens until they declared independence. Then, in the Revolutionary War, they received help from both France and Spain, Britain's enemies.
Yeah, I'm sure you'd have your Stormwind Tories, but I do think it's possible. Just saying I would enjoy it if it happened. Not saying it's likely to happen any time soon.

Well in the RPG books, Theramore is a neutral port; a place where Horde and Alliance can go. So, if all her people did hate that, they would have done something to over throw it along while ago.
